I've said it many, many times before - there has never been a better time to be a gamer than right now. This current gen, and all the stuff surrounding it, is just awesome.

Also, why does PC have such precedence over video games? I'd take a Smash Brothers, GTA, or MGS over that any day.

Theoretically, it offers more options to the gaming experience, because a console is basically a limited PC, no? But with your own computer you can do things like upgrade your graphic card, have more storage space, download trainers and mods online, and have the option of using a keyboard or a d-pad or a mouse, etc etc. It's just more out-of-the-box.

By the way, GTA is available for PC. The chart's implication is not that PC have better games than consoles, it's that the game would play better on a PC for the aforementioned reasons. That's why we have emulators.

Ah. Although with the progress of the 360 and PS3, it practically is a mini-PC that would last just as long as the regular PCs until you upgrade.

Anyone here play Fate for the PC?

It's a Diablo-clone that came out a few years ago. Actually, it is so much like Diablo that I am surprised Blizzard didn't sue them.

It's pretty good.

It has a more cartoony look, and the developers made it easier and more accessible.

Your character also has a pet - either a dog or a cat - who explores the dungeons with you. You can load up a bunch of stuff in your pet's inventory and send it back to town to sell your crap. Your pet also fights with you, and he can level up and morph into other beasts in later stages.

It's a more casual action/RPG experience, and I highly recommend it.

But I'm perfectly happy with my 360. I prefer the games released there to the games released on the PC (though there is a lot of cross-over).

They are asking for 100. I am more than likely going to just buy a new one at a no hassle return store, and return my defective one in the new box. The store will still get credit for the transaction. Hell of a lot better than paying Microsoft to send me a refurbished one.

E3 will be held next week.

I think Nintendo will reveal a lot of new games. No one knows exactly what they have left for the Wii for the rest of the year and 2009. I guess Mircosoft and Sony will unveil their new wiimote controllers.

But all I want is a Resident Evil 5 release date. :P
