To help anyone that decides to play Remember Me the most recent PS+ game (which you should play it's great) the Madame boss fight in the game is glitched where if you use a certain power on the boss it makes it so you can't kill them. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out a way to kill her with no avail even though I was doing what the game was telling me to do. I looked online and found out I just had to restart the encounter and not use that power and it worked fine.

Played through Left Behind last night and it's fantastic. Better then the main game.
    No way.

I thought the main game was a really good game but overhyped. It didn't make my top ten last year but would have definitely made a top twenty. Left Behind gives me more of Ellie which was my main reason I liked the original.

So was that section flying up through the Chain of Balance the part everyone's talked about being so crazy hard?

I got through it all on the first try.

Or is it significantly harder on harder modes or something?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

It was very difficult for me in '05. Today, probably not so much.

I am. "God of War 3" came out in '10. There's that section where you're escaping from underground by flying up through a tunnel with a chain running down the middle.

Derp. Loved that sequence. I was thinking the climb out of Hades in number one.

The last episode of the 8-4 Play podcast is amazing. They have on one of the original localizers for Japanese games being brought to America, and he talks about working on a bunch of old Konami classics. Highly recommended if you're into video game history.

I am nearing the end of "God of War 3" and I have to say it's by far the weakest of the main trilogy. Prettier graphics and larger encounters does not a better game make. The environments are repetitive, it has the weakest of the three stories, and overall it's just not as exciting as the first two installments.

That's not to say it's bad - I maintain what I've said a few times prior that it's a lot of fun. Some of the huge encounters are pretty neat for sure, and the combat is as fun and responsive as ever.

I also think it's probably the easiest game in the main trilogy. The previous two had several sections that were maddeningly hard, even on the normal difficulty. Here I have only died a few times, and mostly due to annoying camera angles (and a couple of glitch-deaths where I fell out of the world).

Real Gamestop conversation I had today:

Me: "Do you have Uncharted 2 in stock?"
Gamestop employee: looks at the computer "for what system?"
    Me: "Atari 2600"
Gamestop employee: confused he stares at his computer and starts typing "looks like we only have it for PS3"
Me: "okay I'll take the PS3 version then"

I died several times at that part...I remember it being controller-crushing-intense, but it didn't frustrate me.

If you work at a videogame store and don't know what system Uncharted is on (the most popular franchise on the PS3) you deserve it. It's not like I asked him some obscure game.

It's a chain store. They hire based on work ethic, not knowledge.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Fair enough. But basically, if you're willing to show up on time, you don't steal shit or piss off customers, and you do as you're told, you're good enough to get hired for retail.

I'm just saying, I don't really expect Safeway employees to know their way around microwave food, either, just which aisle they keep it on.

Besides, if the clerk was young enough, he probably thought the Atari 2600 was a new console.

But a grocery store carries everything. Gamestop is a specialty store. If I go to a flower shop and the person doesn't know flower basics when I go in I would be annoyed.

    Anyway.

    OUch w/ Thief Reviews.

Game Informer (80/100): "Locked behind this old-school game design is a gem that stealth fans should eye up for their collection."

Edge (70/100): "Fans who take the time to customise their settings ahead of their first playthrough will find a rewarding world here to pick clean. Nevertheless, it's still difficult to shake the feeling that, for all his dexterity, Garrett has stumbled in his attempt to gain access to a new generation.

IGN (68/100): "Between the hit-or-miss missions is an extremely annoying city hub map and a weak story full of bland characters, and Garrett himself isn't as sure-footed as a master thief ought to be. Ignoring the story and cherrypicking the best side missions is the best way to approach it."

Gamespot (60/100): "Each time I thought I might fall in love, the game doused my passions with a new annoyance. There was the bug that had me swimming in place on top of some boards I'd leapt to. (Thank goodness for reloadable checkpoints!)"

Telegraph (40/100): "I had more fun making my way up to bed in the dark after playing Thief than I did at any point during its benighted trudge across The City."

Joking's cool. Your post makes it sound like you wanted us to be amused by your douchebaggery. "Deserve it" is a touchy way to put it.
