Having a lot of fun with "Comic Jumper". This game is hilarious.

"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
That end boss in GOW1, with the shared life bar...I've tried it for days. Finally gave it up. I hate cheap end bosses. Didn't majorly struggle with any other part of the game.
The entire God of War series has the best boss battles... ever.Quoting Skitch (view post)
Yeah, some of those were pretty epic. Hades comes immediately to mind.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
How about the first boss battle you ever fight? Hydra.Quoting bac0n (view post)
THe boss battles in GoW were weak compared to the other two games with the exception of Poseidon. Hermes, Hades and Helios were way too easy.
Rage is pretty fucked up.
I ended up getting Left For Dead 2 for anyone that wants to play on X-Box 360.
I'm in. And I think you're one of my xbox friends already, methinks.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

I really wish they'd link XBoxLive with Games for Windows. Its annoying to not know anyone with the PC version.Quoting bac0n (view post)
Ummm me!Quoting Fezzik (view post)
Also, it would be more annoying if you were playing on PC with a bunch of 360ers. It's such a slower game on console.
I like "The Darkness", but it's hugely inferior to "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay".
Jackie Estacado is just not an interesting lead character at all. Where Riddick has charisma and mystique, Estacado is just a stereotypical goombah with a horrible hair cut.
The little loading videos where Jackie sits in a black room getting all introspective about life and love are very, very hammy and cut the pace of the game terribly.
Props to the voice of Mike Patton as The Darkness, and the demon abilities are pretty neat.
But yeah, not exactly something I'll be rushing to replay when it's over.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
That's not entirely true. The way the twist is revealed does change, and the way the twist impacts the rest of the story also changes. It's not like what you do is going to []Quoting Spun Lepton (view post)
"Zeno Clash" is so awesomely weird, I'm in love with it.
The character designs and massive amounts of vibrant colour in the world have sucked me in.
Strongly recommend it to anyone looking for something REALLY different in the FPS/first-person adventure genre.

I finally finished up all the content in Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition. I'm so glad I bought this game. I loved it just as much as Mass Effect 1/2 and Fallout 3/New Vegas. I picked up Dragon Age II for $25 at Target and I'm excited to play it but I think I'll play a game or two in between.
I just got Child of Eden in the mail from gamefly and I've got Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Nier and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in my backlog.

For those with an Ipad, and an interest in seeing what the thing can do when it comes to gaming, urgently check out Hard Lines. It's truly remarkable, not in a "holy-crap-these-graphics-are stunning" kinda way, but more in the vein of "I-cant-put-this-thing-down" sorta way. And yet, the visuals are remarkably sleek and sexy in their simplicity. At heart, this is a game of light cycles reminiscent of Tron, but with multipliers littered accross the track. Three minutes in and the screen is ablaze with streeks of yellow, red, green and blue and the adrenaline pumps through my veins as I frantically try to detect escapes while taking a few competitors down. Near-misses are frequent and exhilarating, the controls are utter simplicity (but work great). All the lines, as soon as they enter the grid, are given names such as "I'm Chuck Norris" (the names fade away after a second) and add little, but personality and humour is a always welcome. There are red blocks too which transform your trail into a blazing red wall of destruction capable of blasting right through all the others! I was reminded not just of Tron, but also of Williams classic Robotron 2084, Tetris (clearing becomes a skill, the grid a puzzle-like labyrinth), geometry wars.

I played Mass Effect 2 most of yesterday afternoon.
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
Fuck I'm stuck here. THis is impossible.

I remember that fight. That took me lots of tries to get through, even on normal difficulty.

This is exactly what i look like: :frustrated:Quoting bac0n (view post)
My advice to you then is this:Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
1) change level to easy.
2) kick that pooch's ass from pillar to post.
3) change level back to titan.

Can't remember if I had to do the same. I remember it being tough as hell though.
I did it. I fucking did it. It must have been 150 tries 3+hours but i did it.
I didnt kick and dogs though. It's you get caught in animations too much.
also i was trying to get the platinum, so changing to easy was not an option.Quoting bac0n (view post)
I already beat it on Normal and I Don't remember that part being hard at all.
"Zeno Clash" was super cool.
