I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

My neighbor just got an internship with Alex Gibney and will be assisting in his new documentary on Julian Assange.

What surprises me is the huge ratings for Wipeout.

I guess it's quick fun. Is there even a winner at the end or a prize?

Brought one of our cats (Izzy aka Boo Boo) in to get her teeth cleaned today. While they had her under, they discovered four teeth were either cracked or had something akin to uber-cavities of doom. They've extracted the teeth, and she's doing fine. We get to pick her up at 1630.

Its not uncommon for cats to have this issue, and she should be fine and the recovery time should be brief.

There are few places in the world where I would be more uncomfortable than sitting at that table.

When I saw that Steve's still wearing the turtleneck and jeans, I was hoping that Zuck would have showed up to a dinner with the President in a GAP hoodie and flip flops.

I was gonna go with "World Domination!" but your post is funnier to me.

When I saw that Steve's still wearing the turtleneck and jeans, I was hoping that Zuck would have showed up to a dinner with the President in a GAP hoodie and flip flops.
Capped off by him handing a business card with the words "I'm the CEO, bitch" to the president.

Man on the street poll: please don't search the internet for this, I'm just curious if it's common knowledge:

When making a recipe with yeast, and you add the yeast and water together, how long does it take for froth to form on top of the mixture?

If you don't know, say so. I'm having a disagreement with someone about whether or not this is something that is generally known.
    ...and the milk's in me.

  24. #25499
I don't know, but I've never made something with yeast myself. When making food with my friends who do more cooking/baking than I, though, they seem to know it real well.

No clue, but like Syco, I've never made anything with yeast.
