Okay, I'm looking for two stories on the internet that I can't find with googling, probably because I don't remember enough concrete information.

One of them was written by a writer-- possibly a well-known writer-- who had a friend who fell in love with a man on the internet, only to have it be exposed that the "man" was a completely crazy woman. the online friends banded together in real life and exposed her.

Another was a news story about two boys, and one of them convinced the other that he was a woman, that they were in a relationship, that s/he had become pregnant, and a bunch of other crazy stuff.
    ...and the milk's in me.

The older I get, the funnier I find puns. This is probably the most worrying aspect of getting older.
I'm having this same problem, although it's tempered by the fact that my real pleasure comes from watching people roll their eyes and groan at me. I cackle.

I just noticed that Keith Olbermann has a thing during his 'Worst Person' segment called the "Bill Hicks Is Still Ahead of His Time Clip of the Week."

    Awesome.
I still can't stand his show at all, but that's great.

As my sister and BIL have made it clear that toddler niece has far too many books and toys, I am starting to get her music collection going this Christmas. We'll begin with some Raffi and go from there.

She's not allowed to watch movies or television yet. That can wait.

Either people are doing their shopping online, or perhaps the idea of doing all your Christmas shopping right after Thanksgiving is burning people out. The store I do maintenance for was just like any other Saturday.

    Yesterday though, pretty stupid crazy.

I was bored and Google searched "spongebob face" and came across it. Figured it was worthy of a share.

Today I learned that buying lumber to make shelves out of from Home Depot is more expensive than buying finished shelves from IKEA.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I finished 100% of my Christmas shopping.

No one is getting anything from me this year.

Well that's not entirely true. Some good friends will get an invite to a nice home cooked dinner with good drinks, all on me.

Hi again, although I'm not sure if I remember who are you....but then its been a while I imagine.
I used to post regularly at the end of the RT/beginning of MC days, then popped in several years ago to post my 100 favorite songs (all at the old site). I've never stopped reading. It's been very interesting watching the site change from a distance.

Figured I was half wasting my time by not posting, and I don't feel like wasting time these days.

Oh, awesome. The site can always use more people.

And my high school reunion was actually worth my time. I drank beer, shot the shit with people I hadn't seen in years, and then got out before I wore out my welcome. Good times.
