    I'm not sure if MMO's will work on consoles though. No mods and there are so many patches needed for it.

    Gamefaqs was the first, real (non-BBS, non-Prodigy/AOL) website I ever visited. Probably in 97 or there abouts. My current account there was created in 2001 when they merged with IGN. While I don't post much there anymore - it is a very juvenile place - there are some good people and some good boards. It is also a great place to look up FAQs and walk-throughs, release dates, and general game data, and it loads fast. All around I think it is one of the best designed and maintained websites on the Internet.

    It is simple, easy to navigate, and it has a ton of quality material even though many of its users are quite juvenile, but you're bound to run into juvenile people when you deal with a hobby that has historically been targeted towards kids. Remember, we (the Atari 2600 gen) are the first adult generation to fully embrace the hobby of gaming.
    I would have figured you as an EvilAvatar guy.

    I am far more excited for Champions Online because it is not tied to a specific set of heroes with an established mythos.

    It wasn't just the FF announcement. The MS conference showed a lot more games and had live demonstrations of Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Resident Evil 5 and Fable 2. They also showed loads of other Square RPGs.

    I didn't even see a mention of one of Sony's biggest titles, Killzone 2. I believe the only PS3 gameplay that was shown was of Resistance 2...

    Edit: Forgot about Little Big Planet, that was cool that they showed business stuff in that level.
