Indeed. I too just purchased Muchacho. "Song for Zula" is incredible. Anyone have thoughts on his album Pride?Quoting ledfloyd (view post)

Good album. Totally Daniel Lanoise inspired - at least it sounds like that.Quoting dreamdead (view post)
Where should one start with Lanoise's solo work? Shine sounds like it could be interesting...Quoting D_Davis (view post)

I like Acadie the best, followed by Shine and then Here is What Is and Belladonna, with The Beauty of Wynona being my least favorite.Quoting dreamdead (view post)
Funny you should mention this, because I just heard this for the first time a week or so ago.Quoting ledfloyd (view post)

Pride is fantastic, easily my favorite album of his. It's moody, haunting and incredibly lush and dense. I'm not big on any of his other albums, though Muchacho has its moments.Quoting dreamdead (view post)
Cool. Picked up Pride as well and am looking forward to getting into it in the coming days.

Still awake at 6:30AM, therefore some ambient is in order.
Their Fallon performance was awesome.
Two years in and this is still likely the most interesting of the K-pop scene. Lovely how much of a sense of cacophony comes over the finale.
The Boat People - 9
The Power of the Dog - 7.5
The King of Pigs - 7
Will check out that HNIA later (one of my favorite bands ever) as I'm listening to Eldorado by Electric Light Orchestra.
New Magic Man EP. Damn...this band just shames every single one of their contemporaries.
In every department - song writing, arrangement, instrumentation, performance, lyrics, and production - this band as at the top of the game.
