It was a 50-60 something lady with her contractor and they were in trying to find some tiles to redo her bathroom. I showed her some in the look she was going for and at a good price, and then gave her my card (as I do with all customers).

She said "oh thank you so much!" and kind of caressed down my cheek and gave my goatee a tug.

    It was weird.
    That is totally creepy.
    ...and the milk's in me.

I'd stop shaving my head every two weeks if my hair grew back gray. Gray hair is the best.

My hair is definitely disappearing. It's thinning quite a bit on top, and I am developing a noticeable bald spot. I'm still not sure how I feel about it.

I think I mentioned it before, but yeah, about a month and a half ago I officially gave up my fight against balding, and started shaving my head right down to the skin.

I do it typically every 2-3 days. Apparently after a few months the skin will toughen up and I will be able to do it every day to keep it smooth, but right now my skin is too sensitive for that. I get major razor burn if I do it two days in a row.

I got a fantastic haircut the other day, and it's still blondeish-brown!

My maternal grandfather had a full head of hair the day he died. Paternal grandfather's been bald since his early thirties. I seem to take after the former.

By the time we are all in our 70s hopefully robots will just all the typing for us. I look forward to interacting with Raiders and KF's kids, who will ask me "Why are you still here?"

Also, this will be obvious to some of you: NEVER switch from Boddington's to Budweiser half way through an evening. ENORMOUS MISTAKE.

The overlap between fans of the Illuminatus! trilogy / Robert Anton Wilson, and Role Playing Games is very large. I've often wondered why this is?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

The only thing that ever rivaled Irish's deleted post was the temporary Match Cut of a month-or-so ago.

I considered quoting it this morning. To preserve its beauty for eternity.

I was going to screencap it and make it the next MC banner.

I'm totally stoked. Someone just bought one of my albums for 50 cents! A few more of those and I can kiss this day job good-bye!
After Bandcamp's fee, I'll have like 43 more cents to my name. I can buy one can of soda at work. It's going to be a good lunch today!

I finally am a little scared about my surgery. I've been pretty even keeled up to now. My friends are surprised and skeptical, and now I know why.

At registration today, during pre-op, they asked me for the name of the person who'd make my medical decisions for me if I were unable, then asked me if I have a living will.

In that moment, I went cold. I could die. I know it's unlikely, but shit, its always a possibility. I mean, what did I expect? They're going poking and cutting in my abdominal cavity to basically cut my stomach out of my digestive system.

They made the mistake of taking my blood pressure AFTER that conversation, and it was really high. I asked them to do it again after a few minutes and it was closer to normal.

Yikes. Friday morning can't get here fast enough. I want this over and done with.
