I'm behind on most of my match cut. The TV and Music forums I'm always caught up on, The Kitchen Sink it's about half and half. The rest I'm incredibly behind and probably won't read.

I miss The Hat. One of the best fast food restaurants I can think of off hand. Hot greasy pastrami sandwiches. Some Southern Californian has to back me on this.
Yeah, The Hat is right next to my work. I hardly ever go there because the portion sizes are so damn big for one person.

My only advice to you is if you see that I've posted in the Kitchen Sink, you should read it within 24 hours.

I dodged a Crazy Bullet this week.

I'm a member on Match.com. I hadn't logged in for a week, and when I logged in on Monday, I found I'd received a "wink." I sent a nice reply, saying that I'd never received a wink before and introduced myself.

Her reply was, I'm paraphrasing, "My only advice to you is if you receive a wink, you should reply within 24 hours, thanks."

    Talk about passive aggression.
It never ceases to amaze me how so many people on dating websites manage to be so picky and restrictive.

Why? You say that as if dating sites are the last resort or something.

I would too... if they weren't so delicious.
    Same here.

I also like Dairy Queen's food. Their chicken strip basket is affordable and filling.
Same here. And I love Chik-Fil-A. Waffle fries + that delicious chicken sandwich=awesome, although the only one nearest me (for now, anyways) is all the way across town. So I don't get to eat there a whole lot.

In-N-Out and Five Guys don't exist in my town, but its my understanding that In-N-Out is only a West Coast franchise. I Googled Five Guys, and according to their website only one exists in Iowa, and its in Sioux City, so I don't think I'll be eating there anytime soon.

While I draw the line at eating at McDonalds, and I mostly try and avoid going to KFC, I'm still addicted to fast food. Last night I ate at Taco Bell (in my defense I was getting a ride home and was intoxicated), and I still love Wendy's. Arby's used to be a lot better, although I dig their chicken strips, and I only eat at Hardy's, Burger King and Long John Silver's once in a while, but not too much. I guess Subway is fast food, and its delicious but I know they keep upping their prices and they used to have much better deals than they do now.

A really good local fast food joint that is only open on certain days (and they have limited hours) is this chicken tenderloin place that's over on the other side of town. They serve you waffle fries and gigantic tenderloins that are bad for your heart, but really tasty anyways. What I really miss though is Sonic: all of their locations closed down. They had the best damn tots in town, and their burgers and chicken sandwiches were excellent. Oh well.

I dunno if any of you folks have Zaxby's where you are, but it's awesome. Delicious chicken everywhere, great sauce, good sides, great shakes, etc.

As far as fast food goes, I'm a fan of Chick-Fil-A, Popeyes, Subway and Taco Bell. I eat McDonalds and Burger King every so often when I'm craving something cheap. But I can only eat Five Guys once every blue moon, and as good as Jack in the Box is, it doesn't settle well in me anymore. Hardee's and Krystal are the only places I really don't like.

I actually find that the women I've spoken to in person who have told me they're on dating sites are actually more picky and sometimes conceited than others because they have 5+ men a day spamming them for their contact details.

Isn't that the point though? You can be as selective and picky as you want.

I remember meeting a chick years back on a dating web site. After a few dates, she said I wouldn't be allowed to drink if we became serious, but she could still smoke weed.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to let my membership expire. This site is the final of four sites I was willing to check out. I will not be making any more waste-of-time memberships. Maybe OKCupid, since it's free. Never had luck, there, either. But, hey ... free.

Cook-Out's shakes are still the best shakes I've ever had.

Yeah. A friend of mine said she was overwhelmed and gave up on it because there were simply too many requests.

eharmony works pretty well. You are given a selection based on your personality, etc... So it won't be as daunting for people. I had success, but have since stopped using it because I ended up not liking anyone I met through online dating.

This. It's delicious, but I always end up ordering a pastrami melt and chili cheese fries, then wondering why the hell I keep overestimating my appetite so much.

Chipotle is my favorite of the white people Mexican chains but I also enjoy Rubio's and Baja Fresh. Baja Fresh has burritos that are even bigger then Chipotle's and I get them "enchilada style" where they smother them in red sauce and cheese. They also put it with chips covered the same way. It is impossible to finish one of these.

eHarmony rejects me because I'm an atheist.

My Match.com membership was due to expire in less than 10 days, so I just cancelled.
