The wife and I were sitting in the park waiting for the fireworks to start in Eden Prairie. As the sun was going down, I observed a group of, ahem, ghetto young fucks, talking shit back and forth. I'm sitting there, enjoying my beer, and fifteen feet away it starts escalating. People start swinging, a knife or two gets pulled, yada yada yada, and I'm wishing I brought my camera.
The cops were there like white on rice, 'cause, hell, there were only at least ten squads at the park for the 4th. The punks take off running, but as the fireworks started flying, we also got to watch people get thrown into squad cars, cops running around grabbing the punks, and squads flying around.
Made fireworks rather interesting. The weird part? When the shit started happening, I think my blood pressure actually dropped a little bit.

We did fireworks when I was a kid. But this is not a tradition I've passed along to my son. I don't go watch them. I don't set them off at home. If I'm passing by and happen to see them, great. But they don't interest me enough to make any sort of extra effort.

Speaking of Pinball have any of you played Pinball FX 2? It's on xbox and ps3, and it's about the best pinball video game out there. It follows alot of the same rules as actual pinball. I love it and it's actually helped my game at actual pinball, I've started playing some and done really good. If any of you get it on xbox let me know and we'll be xbox friends.
