I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

In Red Dead Redemption, was I supposed to resist the urge to hogtie the Mexican nun? If so, I failed.

Red Dead Redemption is such an amazingly well-crafted game. Hopefully this streamlining of the missions, with the checkpoints, etc. will carry over into the Grand Theft Auto series.

    Only two minor issues:

    1. Seems a little weird that you are not allowed to 'interact' with the prostitutes. I guess they've done this intentionally to establish character, but with all the other stuff he does, it seems odd for him to suddenly be a moralist in regards to lusty wench sex.

    2. It's kind of dumb that falling in water means instant death.

That's about it though. The settings are gorgeous. The gameplay is smooth. The action sequences are exciting. Love it.

I'm pretty confident saying that RDR is the best game I've played this gen. First game in a long time that I wasn't near done playing it when I finished the story mode.

I don't play a ton of games, but I feel confident in saying that it is some sort of masterpiece.

You're sticking rigidly to the missions or are you letting yourself get carried away by the breath of side quests? Just roaming the countryside in other words and enjoying a mighty fine sunset?

Been doing both missions and side quests. Not too much aimless wandering, though I will indulge on a senseless rampage every once in a while.

Boy, the first moment when you see a herd of buffalo ... just breathtaking.

Of anyone here, you'd be the one who discovers that

I wish you had a 360. I'd love to see your reaction to the dozens and dozens of space ostriches in the game. Especially since you're equipped with an assault rifle.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

When I finally play it, and I really will, I'm definitely hoping it can have that impact on me even when I'm not shooting and killing during the main quests.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Of course it does. In fact, for me, the storyline and the missions make the open-world seem to be more alive, just as with the GTA series.

Ever been stuck on a level/board/mission in a particular game for hours and hours and hours and countless retries, and then when you finally made it past, you were so relieved you needed to just sit down, catch your breath, have a beer and say to yourself, "egad, i ain't ever doing that again."

I had one of those moments with a race in ModNation Racers last night. In addition to winning a race, there are other bonus goals, each of which unlock stuff you can use in create mode. I was trying to get those bonus goals on a particular shit-ass-hell-spawn of a track named Mount Pain (more like Mount Pain-in-the-Ass! huh huh huh).

Man, I was swearing at the TV something fierce. Good thing the kids were in bed.
