Isn't there any account on what started the epic bus fight? I'm siding with the beard guy, obviously. He spent like two minutes trying to end the conflict, then defended himself... with a lot of enthusiasm.

The other fucking cry-baby even asked for an ambulance.

From what I understand, black dude said something as he passed the old white dude that old white dude misheard as an offer to shine his shoes. Old white dude then asked black dude how much to shine shoes because he's going to a funeral. Black dude took that as a racial insult and snapped back. Old white dude didn't understand why the black dude was offended. Fight commenced.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

He needed shoes shined as part of a funeral ensemble that included a shirt that said "I Am A Motherfucker"?

    Hahah that's fucking hilarious.

Joe Pesci should have joined the fight.

Friends that text from unknown phone numbers to fuck with you because they think its funny, obviously have never dated someone with a psychotic ex. The next time I hang with that buddy of mine, he will feel the wrath of a surprise fucking beat down. Now that's funny.

I cannot stand to hear Nancy Grace speak for two minutes together. Her voice and cadence are crazy annoying.

My god, this is insane. Have any of you read the recent Observer article, "Porn Kiddies," where they attempt to provide a concrete link between the personal discovery of pornography to alcoholism, rape, bestiality, and even pedophilia? Ha ha no really, I'm dead serious.

Maybe it's just me, but I find this a little hypocritical coming from the same magazine that houses supplements like "Savage Love," and of which an entire third is dedicated to call-girl ads, near the back.

Not to mention the actual words coming out of her mouth. I kind of wish she'd have Glen Beck's child just so we could see the antichrist in our lifetime.

I'll admit I've never been able to listen to her long enough to assess the content of her thoughts. She's just too obnoxious.

But Mara, I can't imagine you writing like an idiot and saying "LOL!!!!".

    So I think you're OK.

I checked... my exact words were "My car as it looks now."

I had taken pictures of the snow before, during, and after for funsies.

You didn't say anything stupid or in L33T speak, so it's OK in my books.

I'd love to find out that in real life you're one of those people who says stuff like "LOL" and "ROFLMAO" out loud.

I'm pretty sure I speak exactly as I type. (Which might come off as strange, actually. I've been told on a couple of different occasions that I choose my words with a strange level of precision.)

I don't speak at all the way I type.

You may find it hard to believe but in real life I'm actually quite an intelligent, eloquent person.

Doing an inspection tomorrow morning on the house I want to buy. Excited, but trying to remain pessimistic because there could very well be further problems or snafus.

    Still. It's kinda awesome.

A crappy picture from the website of the teeny tiny row house I want.

    It's in Baltimore. (Fells Point)

Over the last six months I have become immune to this vein of commentary. Baltimore has problems, but it's also a fascinating historical city that is slowly rebuilding itself. What, you think they call it Charm City because of the alliteration? Well, they don't because "ch" and "ss" are two different sounds so that doesn't even make sense.

I keep forgetting that The Wire references would be lost on you.

Besides, look at that. It's as cute as a bag full of puppies.

In all reality, though, I am going to install a good alarm system, and the house is only a couple of blocks away from my sister & brother-in-law, and it's in a nice neighborhood, so I feel perfectly safe.

To keep it simple, I just assume every time anybody says anything about Baltimore that they are quoting The Wire. It's a fairly accurate working theory.

That's not fair! I watched Homicide first, and it taught me that Baltimore has the best crabs.
