    Awesome. Can't wait.

I'm going to Best Buy this afternoon to pick something up. Not sure what yet, but definitely something.
Just wait until you watch some Blu-Ray movies on that.

Which ones are you thinking about?
Probably going to buy Uncharted 2. Not sure after that. It depends on what they have and prices.

We rented Coraline from Netflix because my son just finished reading the book. We'll be watching it tonight.

If they have the $30 Fallout 3, I might get that instead. I've been reading nothing but awful things about the GOTY edition, that it's glitchy and freezes and whatnot. I don't want any part of that. Last time I was at Best Buy, that's all they had.

User reviews on Amazon. I guess all of the new content is glitchy, and the better version of the game is the original release. It's cheaper too, and I don't really care a ton about downloadable content, so I'm going with the cheap one.

Looks like it's just the PS3 that's glitchy also.

I played the Alaska DLC and it was just a shoot-em-up basically. I heard the others have story.

Wonder when the new one will come out...

Bought Uncharted 2. Fallout 3 was $10 more than on Amazon. I'll get that in a week or so.

I got "Left 4 Dead: Game of the Year Edition" for Christmas.

If anyone has it on 360 and would like someone to play with, let me know. Playing single player sucks

Uncharted 2 is as good as advertised. So far, it's literally one of the funnest games I've played.

    I'm totally down with that.

Has anyone played Baldur's Gate 2? I got it today for the Mac, never played it but I want to. I'm just afraid it will suck me in too much.

It really is staggering on all counts. Biggest "wow!" moment was probably the rooftops of the Tibetan city. Seeing the smallest of rivers in the far off distance, and actually seeing the sun reflect off of it made me realize Naughty Dog really went the extra mile with the whole endeavor.

One of the greatest RPG's of all time.

Pretty much anything by BioWare is guaranteed awesomeness.

    Also check out "Icewind Dale".

Steam has Dead Space for the PC right now for $10 (for the next 18 hours).

Is this an RPG or a FPS? I cant really tell from the screenshots or the description.

Im thinking of getting it. From reading the posts here, if nothing else, its very atmospheric.

It's a 3rd person action game in the vein of "Resident Evil 4".

For $10, you should be happy.

Glad you're enjoying. I still need to finish my second playthrough.

I just beat Batman AA today... and I have to say this game is far more impressive than I initially thought. It's pretty much a page out of the two reboots in video game form; the detective (condemned style) gameplay of crime solving is awesome, the way the game allows you to take out henchmen in a dozen different ways depending on how you want to play is fantastic, then of course the graphics, sound and characters are also top notch. Def. a top 5 game of the year.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Uncharted 1 was my favorite PS3 game until uncharted 2 (edit: and Demon's Souls) came out.

Dunno, the PS3 version has it's share of problems but all versions are buggy as hell, there's a funny eisode of Gametrailers' Invisible Walls where one of the guys reported the nightmare of trying to make the Operation Anchorage DLC to work on his version, and he was playing it on the PC.

Demon's Souls was the choice of GOTY by Gamespot unexpected and deserved.

i've been convinced to get on the demon's souls train. although not till after i've beat my backlog of games

    resistance 2 (last mission)
ratchet and clank: a crack in time (haven't started)
assassin's creed 2 (pretty sure i'm close to being done)
metal gear solid 4 (haven't started)
resident evil 5 (just started on co-op)
red faction: guerilla (played one mission)
saint's row 2 (near the end of the main game)

Uncharted 1 was also my favorite PS3 game before Uncharted 2 came out. Before I looked it up, I was convinced that Drake's character was voiced by Nathan Fillion and not Nolan North.
