There we go - there's the big guns!
Pretty cool!
While I'm not a fan of Team Ninja at all, I'm interested in seeing what they do with a Metroid title.
Another weak Nintendo Presser
What the hell did you want?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
I thought so too, up until the last potion. A new core 3D Mario (first time 2 have been released on a single console), and a new Metroid game - that's pretty big.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
And Team Ninja, on the Wii? That's very big (breasts).
I'd be interested to see what Team Ninja cuold do with a Zelda.
She'd be hawt!Quoting Skitch (view post)
I wanted to hear about the new Zelda. They could have at least mentioned it. Maybe in some post-E3 interviews.
What, Spirit Tracks?
Nintendo doesn't announce stuff until it's pretty much ready, traditionally. The new Zelda for Wii (if there will, in fact, be one) won't hit, I'm sure, till Christmas 2010 at the earliest. Why show or say something that'll be picked apart by "fans" for 18 months, when so much is probably yet to be decided about the title.
Look at the way Square gets lambasted for FFXIII and other long-ago announced games. I think Nintendo took a hit for waiting so long to release Twilight Princess.
They learned NOTHING from last year. GReat a new Metroid. That's all. WTF is this Vitality Sensor???????Quoting Daniel Davis (view post)
I'm not interested in that.Quoting Sycophant (view post)
Twilight Princess was announced well before its release. Yes, this was due to delays, but its announcement was early even going by the intended release date. While Nintendo may have taken a hit for doing that due to the prolonged hype it raised, Zelda games have always carried the baggage of immense hype since Ocarina of Time. You can't really escape that. I respect that they want to manage people's anticipation so as to not aggravate fans with excessive waiting, but they are already out there... waiting. Is there really some harm in adding to the fire a bit with a little teaser? Super Smash Bros. Brawl wasn't announced until days after E3 so perhaps there is some tiny, miniscule hope (I doubt it, though).Quoting Sycophant (view post)
An interview from last E3 confirmed that the Zelda team is working on something.Quoting Sycophant (view post)
They could have at least mentioned it in some capacity. It's actually kind of irritating to have them not even acknowledge the elephant in the room. Which is why I'm hoping the game comes up in post-E3 interviews. I can understand that they don't want to cause gargantuan sized levels of hype this early but some concept art, an elusive trailer, a brief hint, anything... would have been better than nothing. Anyways, the problem I have is simple and doesn't need to be scrutinized beyond this: I wanted to see or hear about Zelda, I didn't, I'm disappointed.Quoting Sycophant (view post)
+2 new heretofore unknown Mario games, a handful of new DS games including Golden Sun and Style Savvy. This really didn't seem terribly underwhelming to me.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
I just started Dead Space. The aliens look a bit generic and appear rather rapidly, but I'll post my further thoughts in the days/weeks ahead.

Generic? They're a complete rip off of John Carpenter's The Thing. wait until you see the grab head.Quoting Morris Schæffer (view post)
LOL....The lights have gone down... someone shouts 'KRATOS!'
Absolutely brilliant game. The new RE, as far as I'm concerned, and better than RE5 in just about every way a game can be better.Quoting Morris Schæffer (view post)
From E3, thus far, the game I'm most excited about is Shadow Complex. Looks like a great looking Metroidvania style 2D adventure (that giant map was awesome), with a bit of Out of This World and Flashback thrown in.
I enjoyed Dead Space a lot the first time through, but really didn't care much the second time through, didn't get too far. However, RE5 is no RE4, but I've put a helluva lot more replay time in it than Dead Space.
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
I beat it 3.5 times. It's not Re5 and it's not Re4. It's John Carpenter's Alien Shock Residential Doom Horizon: The Video GameQuoting Scar (view post)
Wooohooo FFVII on PSN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A remake?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Nah, PSOne classics release. So the exact same game. But considering how much it goes for used these days, that's really good news.
No. PSOne.Quoting Daniel Davis (view post)
You serious?Quoting Daniel Davis (view post)
You didin't know?
That's ridiculous!
They printed millions of those - there were multiple printings even.
Not rare. People are crazy.
Very strange.
What they need to rerelease are the first 2 Suikoden games - now those are the classic RPGs still worth playing. I drove an hour and a half to buy Suikoden 1, and it was worth every minute.
