Had this Pinar Del Rio Seleccion Reserve Limitada the other night to take advantage of the nice weather we had.

It was dee-lish, and it also yielded this most epic ash...

"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

Just smoked a cigar called "The Dark Knight".

    It was suitably delicious.

Sent Scar a nice little care package of some goodies.

Maybe we'll hear from him a bit in this thread

I'm fairly confident my 'reviews' won't be anything like the ones you've posted. I think I'm grilling steaks tomorrow or Saturday, so perhaps I'll bust one out.

Looking to get a bit of dialogue going here.

Is there anyone at all interested in trying a cigar or two? I picked up a few shipping envelopes the other day, so I'd be very happy to send a few your way (wherever you are!) if you're interested.

    Just fire me a PM

Had a Lancero My Father by Garcia & Garcia tonight.

    Very spicy. Very flavorful.

Too drunk to do a proper review, but I really enjoyed this smoke.

By the way Meg... I've really enjoyed this thread even though I haven't responded until now... You should keep it up if you are still smoking.

    Heck yeah I am!

And man, My Father smokes are dee-lish! Don Pepin Garcia and his some Jaime sure know how to make a great cigar.

    And I love lanceros!

Are you a big cigar smoker or was this a "once in a blue moon" thing?

Awesome... I look forward to future reviews.

I wouldn't say I am a big smoker. Although in the past 6 months I have smoked once a week; or once every couple of weeks.

There is a great cigar bar only 10 minutes from my house. Fantastic spirit and tobacco selections. Unlike a lot of other places I have been the ventilation is great -- almost like smoking outside. But with the warmer weather coming I am sure I will be smoking more, at home, by the pool.

One of my humidors, which is admittedly a little over-stuffed. I need to take about 1/4 of them out and spread them across a another humidor or two...

    Our Aurora,

Deepest apologies. I know I promised you some cigars, but this postal strike up here in Canada is making it very difficult.

I have a nice package for you right here, ready to go out the day the strike ends.

Hey sorry I missed this until now.

No worries on the package man...really appreciate the thought.

Haven't smoked any new ones in awhile.
    Anything good on your end?

I've got two main staples of my nicotine diet - Clipper's Menthol Cigars, and Marlboro Menthol 100's. They have served me well, these last few years.

Occasionally, I will buy a large, stately old Churchill from the Discount Tobacco shop down the way - only when I'm celebrating, however.

What brand do you buy when you but the "stately old churchill"?

Churchills are mammoth smokes. It'd have to be damn good to hold my interest.

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks to Meg for sending an amazing package.

Terrible day at work. Surprise cigars waiting for me at home. Me on the porch now with an Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva short story.
Work? I have never heard of it.

    Thanks man...

I'll let you know how I am enjoying these!
    So far... divine.

Awesome!! So glad they arrived safe and sound. That Canada Post strike was a bitch and a half.

    Enjoy!

The torpedo with an orange band is a Diesel Unholy Cocktail, the regular shaped one with the red band is a Diesel Unlimited.

Sitting out back, having a beer, so I decided to dust off the package Meg sent me. Lit up Ms. Olivia, G Series, and she's pretty tasty.

    Glad you like it!

Man, where have you been storing them??? That was several months back, I'm surprised they're not breadsticks by now!
