    I used to watch GLOW.
Dagnabbit, I had to look that up, and now I know things I didn't want to know. Curse my 'satiable curtiosity!

Doubtful. I'm pretty damn happy now and when I'm flippin by and see Monday Night Raw or whatever, I try to fathom how people perceive it as entertainment, but I can never figure it out.
Today's product is nothing compared to the 'ol Glory Days.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I never really see the anger going on on match cut, I'm here on a pretty much daily basis but I don't usually see it, maybe because I'm really behind on movie watching? Or because people just don't care as much about tv?

Also I'm a closet wrestling fan.

Now on to why I came into random thoughts:

So I'm looking at my netflix instant queue and I've been worried since like 40 of the movies are leaving Jan 1st, and they are mostly ones I want to see versus stuff in there I'll eventually watch or really shouldn't be in there anyways. So I look online and there's no mention of all these good movies leaving until I find one post from someone last year remarking the same thing and apparently this is just something that happens every year and they'll probably get most of those movies back, they just have to repurchase rights or whatever. I was finally going to watch Mulholland Drive for the first time and then it fell out of my instant.

"Pro Wrestling" is definitely something that works at a certain age. Kind of like Saturday Morning Cartoons, although I have no problem with that, I just can't think of a better comparison right now.

The grumpiness factor started when Irish joined and is directly proportional to how many times he has posted that day.

If the anthem scene in Casablanca stirs you, check at Jacques Brel's "Amsterdam." What a beast of a song.

Very intense. Listening to a live album of his from the 1,001 albums site I posted in the Music forum. It's pretty good, but it leads off with that cannon fire when it feels more like a closing number. But still...pretty amazing.

Speaking of French-speaking singers, I'm very into Claudine Longet at the moment. I bought a CD of hers for my BIL for Christmas and I can't wait to give it to him so I can borrow it back and listen to it a few times.

Holy crap! Kevin Spacey has officially come out of the closet!

In other news, water is wet, and the sun is hot!
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

No, he didn't. Unless refusing to confirm to the press about his sexuality now counts as coming out.

He volunteered to be in the "It Gets Better" PSA.

    He's gay.

There... There are many straight celebrities who have done those.

    Barack Obama did one.

To be fair on meg, I'm sure it was just the misunderstanding that the It Gets Better promos are being done by exclusively non-heteros. Because it is kind of presumptuous to tell gay teens "it gets better" when you are not actually gay yourself.
