No problem. Let me know if you need restaurant/bar recommendations. Any hotel straight off 30 should be safe. The Radisson is probably the cream of the crop.

While in San Fran, make a stop at Crepes on Cole and have their Hawaiian crepe. Ham, pineapple and soy sauce, with a side of amazing potatoes. Worth going out of your way for.
I would love to do a "BBQ Road Trip" in which I drive to Kansas City, Memphis, and either Dallas or Austin and sample BBQ from each area.
Adding to my list of to do.
Memphis has some of the worst BBQ I've ever eaten. I don't know why that place gets such a good rap. Almost like the people that review those resturants have never made it outside of Memphis. Nashville too. I've had way better BBQ in Texas

Nonsense. I have been to Memphis for a family visit years ago, and I went to Cozy Corner and got the BBQ cornish hen and it remains to this day just about the best thing I have eaten.

Well I didn't go there specifically, but I ate at MULTIPLE places on Beale St and 2nd and 3rd. The most pleasing thing I got out of that experience was the Catfish.
That whole city is a dump.
Don't leave the Carolinas out. The mustard-based BBQ in SC is divine.
I've had great food in Myrtle Beach.
Memphis is basically on the same level as Detroit to me.
It's hard to screw up good BBQ.

I didn't eat half as much BBQ as I did in Memphis. But again I wasn't impressed given the hype.
And let me rephrase, I shouldn't say it was the worst BBQ I've ever ate... It was the most mediocre BBQ I've ever ate considering what TN is known for.
