She shaves her head bald as in recovering from chemo "bald" or "bald" like Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3?
Well, it doesn't get as shiny as chemo baldness, but she uses a razor. I haven't seen Alien 3. She hasn't done it in a few years.
Not many women can pull off the bald look, but there are almost certainly more who could than do.
There are definitely more men who do the bald look than can actually pull it off.
But the real point is that suuuuuucks, Mara.
That is basically why I, too, should never be adventurous. It never goes well.
It could be worse, but I'm not going to lie-- it's pretty annoying.
Wow that's a wicked bummer. I take my hair for granted, I shave it all the time so I never really grow attached to it because I'm constantly changing it. But for women that's a much harder burden to deal with.
I feel your pain. I would not be able to stop touching it, like at all.

Yep. I've been shaving my head for about a year and a half now and I'm not even close to balding. My problem is I have too much hair and it grows too fast.

I'm 31 and going bald and just buzzed my head this afternoon. Not shaved as in bright and shiny, but 1/4" long. It feels great, and I think it looks better, but really I was running out of options.
I get my hair cut short. Yes I'm balding, but I'm not ready to go nuclear and shave my head just yet.

I've been losing my hair since I was 17.
I do the 1/4" shave. Have done so for about 4 years now.

Last Thursday I sent a package to D_Davis in Seattle, and a package to a friend in Toronto.
D_Davis received his package yesterday. The friend in Toronto still hasn't received his.
And guess which one cost more to send?
