Friend requested I be interviewed for her new column in local paper. Sure, of course, I'd do anything to support her.
Hit send on the email responses to her questions. Anxiety immediately through the roof.

Went to a wedding and probably danced for the first time (with people) since Covid. That was fun.
Will have to probably lay low for two weeks now..
I missed out on my cousin's wedding this year because they had to limit the number of people they invited. Sucks. At least you got to go to one. I love weddings.
Skitch I've never been interviewed for anything and I think I'm ok with that.

I was interviewed for a news program on NHK when I went to Japan a few years ago, the crew flagged me down literally right as I got off the plane at Narita. It was a segment about international travel, I think, something to do with cherry blossom season, and it was mostly basic questions about why I wanted to visit Japan, what I was planning on doing during my stay, etc. But then one of the interviewers got really curious about my luggage, because I appeared to be travelling unusually light (I'm obsessive about efficiencies when travelling, planning and maximizing space, etc.), and demanded in his disbelief that I open my bags and display my packing methods. I was like, nah, we're not rooting through my personal belongings on national television haha. I wish I had found out more about the segment so I could have tried to find it online or even see it when it aired; I never did, and it was weird thinking about potentially millions of people seeing me on TV while I was visiting the country. Or they never used the footage, who knows.

How can it be that I was ten minutes ago old when I found out Jared Harris is Richard Harris' son?!
That makes me 0.5 seconds old.Quoting [ETM] (view post)

I didn't know that but holy shit they look alike.
Just finished a total store install with a bunch of rookies, including my district manager (she’s the 2nd lieutenant to my Master Sargent). As we’re leaving I told her I can’t wait to disappear to Grand Rapids next week. She said ‘You are coming back, right? Please tell me you’re coming back.’
I just smiled.

Anyone else get a PM about escorts?
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Yep.
