Just finished all the Netflix episodes after starting them up in September. Show slow builds so well and each episode is amazing. I love all the characters and how they each play their own role and how those roles develop as the story moves along.
Trying to get my hands on the first half of season 5 so I can finish reading through this thread and watch live.
Up to date. Now how the hell am I going to wait months for another episode after watching 5 1/2 seasons over the course of 3 months? So much that can still happen in 8 short episodes.
Was talking with my little brother a few days ago and he asked me if watched Breaking Bad. Evidently, him and his wife cracked out on Season 1 and are addicted like the rest of us. He was bummed when I told him there were only eight episodes left. I reminded him that he still had several seasons of enjoyment....
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
Oh my god why hadn't I seen this before?
:lol:Quoting number8 (view post)
That is way funnier than I expected it. I lost it when Walt Jr. first showed up. Salamanca ringing the bell in the background was a nice touch too.

They've officially announced Talking Bad, a post-episode talk show inspired by Talking Dead. Probably gonna be hosted by Chris Hardwick also?
Movie Theater DiaryQuoting Donald Glover
Well, I thought the lead story was the actual show is back August 11th.Quoting number8 (view post)
But yeah, Hardwick is pretty likely because AMC knows people are going to love weekly mentions of how much he and Aaron Paul get mistaken for one another! But mainly he's friendly with all of the network's big three casts at this point. He did just had Betsy Brandt, Jon Hamm and Rich Sommer on the Nerdist TV show this week. Perhaps Talking Mad coming 2014?
Plus, AMC is already turning this into a series:
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:
Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
Diva (Beineix, 1981)
Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)
Ugh. I have nothing against Hardwick in all honesty, even though he's an easy target, or another one of these shows...but I really dislike those commercials that would pop up during Walking Dead.Quoting number8 (view post)
Only recently got into Breaking Bad (I know, I know) and I don't even have to say how awesome it is. You think the first season is a masterpiece... and then it GETS BETTER. So far I've seen the first three seasons, about to start the fourth and find out if Jesse shot the nerd.
A couple of random comments:
- I love Esposito's character, but they really need to stop having him try to speak Spanish phonetically. He's sharing a scene with two or three guys who genuinely speak Spanish and then he opens his mouth and some weird gibberish come out... it really takes you out of the scene and the character. I think they realized that, though, because in the last few episodes he speaks English even when he's around Mexican characters.
- If I ever see Bryan Cranston in real life, I hope my first reaction is to greet him "Yo, Mr. WHITE!".

I just watched the last episode that exists.
Mind blown. The bitter wait started.
You know, it's basically impossible to second-guess the writing of this series.
For most of the final scene I kept expecting (or fearing) some kind of hit on Walter and his family, probably coming from the guys he appointed as distributors. I was convinced one major character was going to die, probably Skyler. The bathroom scene totally took me by surprise.
Yeah, no idea what to expect from this upcoming season. Walter's going to be brought back in, but how? What's going to be more painful, the crumbling friendship between him and Jesse or Hank?
Still have the frightened feeling that Jesse gets killed.
This is a terrible promo.

What were they thinking?!

They were probably thinking it would've been way better with David Caruso reading it.Quoting [ETM] (view post)

Also, new Luther. Today.
New promo that is just about perfect. Apologies for the poor quality. Was hoping to see an HD version of this up online by now but no dice.
Wow.
Damn it.
