Yeeeeeeah, agreed. Shameful that these guys get 2nd chances while Kapernick is still jobless.
To be fair, though, they only beat women, not disrespected an inanimate object which people then extrapolated to take as disrespecting the troops.

Disrespecting the troops is worse than anything you could possibly do.

Somehow this is supposed to not sound ridiculous.

NFL would probably look bad to expose that Kaepernick had shoulder surgery after his last season and probably can't even throw the ball, otherwise he'd be a slam dunk for the AAF. Kaepernick's wise to not try out there because then it'd be known.

Even an injured Kap would be been better than the shitshow I endured for two out of the last three years. We resurrected Clipboard Jesus for crying out loud.

Skitch the Browns are taking a big chance that Hunt won't do something dumb and then lie about it later. KC cut him for a good reason.

I'm well aware. I haven't heard one of my friends with any reaction to the news other than head scratching. Not one person cheered in my circle. Oh well, not like we can do anything as fans. We'll just wait and see.

Well I hope it works out. Browns fans deserve some hope after that awful 0-16 season. Last season was a step in the right direction.

I have faith that if he does make another mistake, he will be gone. Thus far under Dorsey you get a second chance but exactly ONE. After that, g'bye.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I agree. Dorsey knows what he is doing.

As for the Broncos, I wonder what they gave the Ravens. Flacco is mediocre.

Looks like a 4th round pick, so that's fine.

But John Elway's decisions are putting the Broncos into at least a decade of mediocrity.

That's it? Wow. How embarrassing for Flacco. Imo anything after round 3 is a freebie.

As for your 2nd comment, from your lips to gods ears lol.*

Hey as a Chiefs fan I remember so many awful QBs before Smith and then Mahomes. It is sad when Trent Green was considered good for the franchise. Also Denver still won a SB with the corpse of Peyton/Brock at QB.

Denver just happened to have an all-decade defense. There's always one of those defenses that wins a Superbowl. Ravens and Bucs in the 2000s... Can't recall 90s. Steelers in 80s. Onward.

Can you say, 5 out of 6 Super Bowl appearances?

Patriots have tied for the second-easiest schedule next season, as their opponents had a 2018 win percentage of just .473.

Assuming we win all of our home games (as usual), Pats play these teams on the road. (yawn)

Bears in the 80s. 90s I would have to look but none come to mind, as Packers were balanced, so were the 49ers, Cowboys, Broncos at the end, Rams in early 2000s.

Yeah, the Chargers thought similarly with Drew Brees. Aren't the Saints dummies for falling for that trick?

I think the NFL should definitely expose Kaepernick's inability to throw the ball, because it's not like this is 2019 and people can easily look on Youtube to find clip of Kaepernick throwing darts after his shoulder surgery. They're really missing an opportunity!

Expecting the AAF to pay him $20 mill is hysterical.

Why? $50,000 for his talent and $19,950,000 for advertising is probably a fair price.

The USFL made Herschell Walker the highest paid player in professional football when they signed him. Was that because they could actually afford to pay other players a comparable rate? Not a chance. They paid him that because they were buying the right to be called a professional football league instead of a semi-professional football league. It's the same principle.
