    - Sounds like MSFT had a good day. I liked hearing about the studio acquisitions; seems like they're taking their lack of exclusives seriously.

    - Cyperpunk 77 looks incredible. I remember hearing about it awhile back and wondered what happened to it. (I hope there's more to it than a hardboiled, futuristic GTA thing, though.)

    Also, from yesterday:

    - EA is fucking around with lootboxes in BF5. WTF?

    - The trailer for Sea of Solitude looks good. The premise struck me as the kinda wildly imaginative idea that used to be found at the movies. Will release next year (?) on Xbox and PS.

    ETA:

    - Suspicious of Fallout 76 or whatever it's called. I prefer single player games. I had my fill of online experiences, with all their associated positives and negatives, years ago. I don't really wanna log onto play a game and be surrounded by randos. And I want nothing fucking to do with any idea built around "gaming as a service."

    - Speaking of bad online play: Bioware's Anthem looked like shit. Seriously, after their massive Star Wars MMO fuckup, who would trust them again? (Not me!)

    It's a role-playing game. Based on the Cyberpunk 2020 pen and paper game.
