I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Oh! If they think those characters can't support their own movies, what about crossover movies? A supernatural threat that The Avengers can't handle, so Dr Strange, Blade and Ghost Rider step up. There's a mob gang war, and it pits Daredevil against the Punisher, etc.

This would be pretty cool and conceivable to see, especially since all but Dr. Strange are pretty culturally established and wouldn't need origin stories to prop them up. If anything, the performances of Strange, Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy will determine how far outside their core Avengers group they want to invest in as a studio, even though the recently reverted names are arguably more commercially viable.

I'd also like to see them eventually experiment with R-ratings, and some of those characters are probably the most suited for it.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

R rating is never gonna happen now that they're owned by Disney.

This is gonna get ugly soon. Apparently just like RDJ, Scarlett Johannson and Chris Hemsworth are also not contracted for Avengers 2. Now they're demanding way more money, and Marvel doesn't seem to want to budge. The idea of them recasting those roles sound ridiculous, but... Terrence Howard and Ed Norton. They obviously believe that people go to see the brands, not the actors.

    http://movies.yahoo.com/news/robert-...215344618.html

But The Avengers cast are ready to rumble with Marvel for the Avengers sequel slated for a May 2015 release. “Some received only $200,000 for Avengers and Downey got paid $50M. On what planet is that OK?” an insider tells me. CAA represents an overwhelming majority of the Marvel stars and is trying hard to keep the negotiations out of the public limelight and media headlines. But that may not be possible with some reps blaming the studio for ’scorched earth’ tactics past and present. ”Marvel has created so much animosity by strongarming and bullying on sequels already. It’s counterproductive,” one source tells me.
Already a lot of brinkmanship played out for Captain America 2 and Thor 2. Calling it the “weirdest experience”, one rep still can’;t believe Marvel offered “only a $500,000 raise and then would pay another $500,000 when the movie hits $500M. Are they out of their minds?” When it was pointed out to Marvel that Hemsworth already had received $5M for his starring role in Snow White And The Huntsman, the studio shot back, ”I don’t know why you’re complaining when Marvel only has hit movies.” To which the response was, “He’s happier working at a place like Universal.”

I will not be excited for Avengers 2 with a new cast.

Will I still see it? Yes. For Joss Whedon.

I can understand that from Marvel's viewpoint. I mean, people buy comics for the characters, not necessarily for the writers or artists. And they've been low balling creators for decades.

RDJr has clout. He'll probably get what he wants. Hemsworth is going to put a bullet into his career if he's not careful. Same for Johanssen, sorta.

Marvel is going to regret it if they go the re-casting route.

People have fallen in love with this cast.

Marvel's now notorious cheapness is going to have to change if they want to keep the winning streak going.

I think RDJ is pretty replacable.

Maybe I'm way off base here, but...I think Marvel needs to make better back end deals. I understand not wanting to foot big bills up front in case a comic book movie bombs, but when one goes supernova ala Avengers, break em off a piece. Though if the reports are to be believed, RDJ should be the least whiny about money.

RDJ is fighting for his co-stars, not complaining about his own paycheck.

Unexciting teaser for Big Hero 6, Disney's first animated adaptation of a Marvel comic.

I'm going to guess that they'll have to change the line-up to exclude some of the X-Men characters. Obviously Silver Samurai's not gonna be in this because of The Wolverine.

Huh... That was a joke, right? It's a single shot of a Chinese street. Who the hell thought about releasing it as teaser footage? I already know what animation looks like. Show me something about the story.

Sorry guys, I haven't read up on it in depth. This type of desputes tend to annoy me and I can't put them aside when watching , it lingers in the back of my mind and affects my viewing. I was trying to imply the actors should get a piece of the super-pie though.

It's neither. It's San Francisco mixed in with Tokyo as the fictional city the movie is set in. They're showing off the unique setting.

Ronan the accuser is villain in guardians of the galaxy. I've no idea whether this is good or bad.
