    1. Eberhard Weber - The Colours of Chloe - Unfortunately, I doubt I'll hear a better album this year. It's pretty much downhill from here.

    1. On And On, Jack Johnson-*** 1/2

    2. Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained Original Motion Picture Soundtrack [Explicit Version], Multiple Artists-****

    3. Blade Runner OST, Vangelis-****

    4. Boy, U2-*** 1/2

    5. Bon Iver, Bon Iver-*** 1/2

    6. Break It Yourself, Andrew Bird-***

I like too many albums, but I've gotten lazy to the point of just listening to stuff I think I'll like/artists I'm a fan of. Although I'm thinking more *** for that Bird album-he's done far better, and I liked the Bon Iver a lot more than I really should have.

Have you heard Satori? That's their 'canon' LP, you should check it out first (though I haven't heard the one sevenarts mentioned; should).

No, but I was searching them on RYM last night and saw that it was their most popular, so yea I'll probably give it a listen first.

Yeah, Satori is probably better, I've had that one for ages but for some reason have only just gotten around to some of their other albums. Anywhere (their debut) is amazing in a totally different way, since it's all radical covers, while Satori (their 2nd album) is original material. Can't go wrong with either one, I'd say, and their next 2 albums after those are pretty good too.

This is still, by far, the best album I heard this year. It's also a top ten all time great album. A masterpiece.
