Heh, Spore is coming to the iPhone aswell:
And Super Monkey Ball:
Doesn't look bad at all.
Wait... the iPhone is a gaming platform? I feel an urge to run in fear.
Is Spore confimred for Wii yet? I really, really want it to be, but I've heard conflicting reports.
Yeah, it's becoming a sort of gaming platform now. Apple just recently announced iFund. A $100 million venture capital system for the development of applications and services for the iPhone and iPod Touch. They will fund game development as well.

And I'm pretty sure Spore is coming to the Wii.
I'm getting tired of all the i-Stuff. Why does i have to be in front of everything?
Soon I'll be drinking iMilk out of an iBottle in my iKitchen in my iHouse in the iSuburbs of iOttawa in iCanada.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

Somebody is developing a Wii version, but it will not be a port of the PC game. Speculation right now pegs it as a monster-creation/mini-game collection.Quoting Saya (view post)

What, was the similarity to playing "God" too suggestive for Nintendo??

Random story: At my old job, one of my coworkers always got offended when I would refer to a computer key as a God key, 'cause you plugged it into the back of the computer and it gave you access to all the hardware settings.Quoting megladon8 (view post)

Yikes.
Was he a friend and this was just a random quirk? Or was he annoying otherwise?

As long as we didn't discuss religion, it was fine. He was a proponent for purchasing editted movies, too.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Him and a chick there were rather religous. One week after my friend was murdered they were discussing predestination, and asked me if I believed in it. I decided walking away was the best choice.
EDIT: Anyways.... How 'bout them video games? Entertaining, eh!

Ugh...you made the right choice. That could have been nasty.
It's horrible that they would discuss that after something like that happening, but then to turn around and be offended by something like "God key" is just...:frustrated:

"Modern weapons can defend freedom, civilization, and life only by annihilating them. Security in military language means the ability to do away with the Earth."

No idea. It is meant as a demonstration of the technology and gameplay mechanics, but the actual game itself is still in the concept stage. The only thing Takahashi has revealed is that it will focus on online cooperative multiplayer to some ambitious extent. Some kind of persistent playground, perhaps (and he did say he wanted to design a playground after Katamari Damacy, so this could be informed by that desire).Quoting monolith94 (view post)

You guys want to hear something hilarious! HAHA! Oh man, this is gonna kill you guys!
So my roommate had this 360 for about a year and had to send it in twice due to 3 ring of death syndrome. Upon getting it back the second time, said to hell with it, and sold it to me for $200, and bought a PS3. I've had it for all of about three weeks, and now I HAVE THE THREE RING OF RED DEATH! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
