I don't think there's a lot that we couldn't do someday, as the cinematic universe continues to grow and expand and get as big as the comic book universe."

"Do I think Hulk can carry a movie and be as entertaining as he was in Avengers? I do believe that. I do believe he absolutely could. We certainly are not even going to attempt that until Avengers 2. So there's a lot of time to think about it."
Hope for a new Hulk movie.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Wow that's really what the Thor universe looks like? Awesome.

So Jotunheim and Asgard is what is depicted in the film.

So while I know this thread focuses mainly on the actual Marvel Studios films, I thought it would be the best place to mention that...

Mark Millar has been hired as a creative consultant at 20th Century Fox for all future Marvel related films.

Wow...these movies are going to get worse as opposed to better? Yikes.

    Hahaha, how desperate.

Not surprising at all, though, considering how much of his creator-owned projects are currently set up at Fox. Vaughn probably had something to do with it, too.

I'll take Millar's comic output over Whedon's any day of the week. Great move on Fox's part.

Looks like Scarlett Johannson is on board. Good. Can't do Winter Soldier without Black Widow, I say.

The female lead shortlist for captain america 2.
    Alison Brie
    Jessica Brown-Findlay
    Emilia Clarke
    Teresa Palmer
    Imogen Poots

Well... Not sure they could have assembled a more gorgeous line-up with equally strong talent.

But I'm kinda hoping it's Brie, especially since it's likely with her and the Russo Brothers' Community connection. Would be nice to see her do something halfway between that sort of comedy and her somewhat heavier work on Mad Men. And say Community doesn't last beyond this season, it'd be a nice career step for her, especially since the others on that list already have a lot of stuff going on from big TV to Malick films.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

    Yes please.

When asked if he was a fan of raccoons, Michael laughed knowingly, hinting at this.

"I love raccoons. Raccoons are my friends (Laughs)!"

Does he think he is right for the role?

"Oh, yeah. Most certainly. I know that James Gunn is doing it. He is directing it, and he is re-writing it. He is a very loyal director. He is a very loyal writer, when it comes to working with people that he knows and loves. He really appreciates the efforts that each actor puts into these roles. And I would be very honored and pleased to work with James Gunn again...Whether it will happen or not, I don't know. But he is a dynamite guy, and we have remained friends ever since we worked together on Slither.

I haven't done much research on it at all yet. Because I don't know what is going to happen. I'm really crazy busy with The Walking Dead right now. But you know what? Write this up. Tweet the fuck out of it. If the fans want me as Rocket Raccoon, Marvel will listen to you guys, I think, sometimes...Perhaps I will be lucky and blessed enough to go in there, and go at it with Mr. Gunn again, who knows? "

I would love it. I would love it. I personally have close ties to Marvel because of (Marvel president) Kevin Feige, because Kevin worked for me. But to take our characters and mingle them in the way that they were written, yeah, absolutely.

Marvel may be including Captain Marvel (the current female incarnation) in The Avengers 2.

Very cool, I say. Marvel has always been one of my favorite characters (particularly the Genis-Vell version in Kree armor - one of the best runs in cosmic comics ever, IMO).

Also rumor has it they're looking at either Alison Brie or Emily Blunt to play her.

I don't think either of those two are good choices for that role. Someone like Carey Mulligan would be great.

I disagree. Mulligan is one of those actors who look perpetually 15.

Someone that young looking just wouldn't suit.
