You're not listening to me at all - I'm saying what if the high end hardware was only available as a dumbed down universal model? The situation in reality is different, as there are more price and feature levels in the DSLR industry than ever, but what if there was just one camera with these amazing specs, but made for a child as much as it was for you. That's what iPhone and iPad are to me - I know people have done amazing things with the software, but there isn't an app for a hardware keyboard if you want it, or any hardware functionality that isn't there.
Oh! So who is prying your PC out of your hand and replacing it with an iPad?

(Also, there is a hardware keyboard for the iPad .. any bluetooth keyboard works with it).

Computer makers have been doing that for years. There's also something called "a line of products". Apple rarely ventures beyond offering memory expansion. They want to keep it uniform, simple and manageable. They're still doing the "we offer this, screw the others" thing from the underdog vs. Microsoft era.
Apple had a "line of products" similar to what you're describing in the early to mid 90s. It was a bloated mess, and all it resulted in is customer confusion.

One of the things Leader Jobs did on his return is slim all that the hell down.

They're not trying to sell to everyone. Arguably, they never have. Why you expect them to operate like Sony or Samsung after only 10 years of increasing sales is a bit of a mystery to me.

I suggest giving trotchky a bit of a break. He's going through some rough shit. Just let him cool down and gather his thoughts and hopefully he comes back soon.

Well, now I'm all worried about my pipes bursting. It doesn't help that my hot water heater still only works when I actively turn it on. I thought pipes only burst when it's really, really cold and when water isn't being used regularly and the pipes get stagnant.

Apparently, the best thing to do is to let water drip from a faucet to relieve the pressure.
    ...and the milk's in me.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Apparently "below freezing" is cold enough, especially in a house like mine that isn't kept warm all the time. Also, having outside pipes is a problem, but I don't have outside pipes. And my pipes were pretty well insulated, as I recall from the house inspection.

If it gets into the 20s at night, I might start leaving faucets dripping.

Hope everything works out. I haven't even moved into my place yet so I'm a bit worried about my pipes freezing since I'm not over there much.

If you're not there, it may be worth it to winterize the place, turn off the main water valve, and drain the pipes. That will keep it safe, but... no water.

Again, it's a fairly mild climate here. I haven't heard about people's pipes freezing regularly. And I take a long hot shower every morning and my roommate takes one every night, so I'm not too frightened.

Well I'm moving in on the 12th... (hopefully if I wake up from my coma from the night before) and I was there last night watching Monday Night Football, but it has been rather cold lately. I keep the temperature at 56 degrees.

Last night I bit a chunk out of the very, very back of my tongue while eating a jalapeno popper.

Today it hurts so much, and is so far back on my tongue, that it almost feels like I have a sore throat.

    It's really weird (and unpleasant).
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

Watched Louie CK's stand up special "Chewed Up" up on Instant Watch a couple weeks ago. He has a race bit there, too. Side splitting, for real.

Can someone tell Clipper Ship Captain or whatever the fuck his name is now that I hate his fucking guts and I vow to kick the shit out of him should I ever encounter him in the real world? Thanks.

After doing much research, I have decided to keep all the heaters in my house on low whether I'm in the room or not. It makes a big difference-- my downstairs was probably 45 degrees this morning instead of 20-- and I don't want my pipes to freeze.

But I am going to get killed with the electricity bill.
