Question: Would you guys rather keep this forum size and start doing big-ass banners, or shrink the forum back to the previous size?

It can't be too tall so the proportions would be wider. That might make compositions from movie screenshots difficult.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

No preference. Let the banner makers decide? Whatever's easiest / coolest.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

What is the current dimension? I must say I quite like the wide forum.

I will vote again for whatever is easiest for you/admins. Short and wide is tougher, a little added height would be great. I don't even mean much more height, 50 more pts would be great. I'll understand if its too big or obnoxious, I don't want that either. If I have to choose between 250x1000 or 250x1500, I'd choose 250x1000.

Well, it's actually adaptive. No max width, just paddings on the sides. I could make the banner do that, too, but the height would be tricky.

    I will experiment.

All right, the banner is a responsive size, but a 2000x750 image or equivalent proportions should work best.

Not to be a curmudgeon, but I find the banner image a bit too large, as in tall. The width I like. We used to do about a 4:1 ratio at the old site and it seemed to work well for movie images and when viewing at work, I am not staring at the initial half the page as a last supper starring Owen Wilson.

But, if I am in the minority, I will concede to the consensus. It is just a bit too much image for me.

I think it's fine the way it is. Could be a bit shorter (less tall) but I'm good either way.

Ah, yeah, I never got around to styling the mobile template. I will do that soon.

Have no idea how number8 or whoever caught this image. It's so brief in the movie that it'd never stick out to me, but it's a wonderful one.

There is something quietly beautiful about the current banner. And I will be going to see It Follows in theaters next week.

Thanks to this website I grinned when I saw the shot from the banner when I viewed It Follows earlier yesterday.
