What the shit. Why? Was Richardson a troublemaker in any way? With these decisions Chud isn't gonna last as a coach to get to draft a top playmaker...
He's been hurt a lot and he hasn't been much more than average. His value is probably at its peak here. Plus every regime wants their guys in, and to be fair, NONE of Holmgren and Heckert's guys have done shit. Colt McCoy, Greg Little, Brandon Weedon....

He was a #3 overall just last season, and they dumped a bunch of picks to move up for him. The Indy pick could end up in the 20s, which is historically a hit-or-miss area of the draft in terms of value.

Personally, I think it's a pretty baffling move. But you know, Cleveland...

Ugh, I hate this reaction. It's an ENTIRE new group of people making the decisions for the first time since '99, are you implying we're just cursed or something?

So the belief is about 4-6 weeks for Rodgers. That opens up the NFC North race to the Bears and Lions, both of whom have stellar offenses attached to middling Ds. I'm optimistic that Detroit can prevail over most of their remaining opponents, but doubt that Schwartz can stage two competent showings against Chicago in a season.

Meanwhile, how good would Cleveland be if Hoyer hadn't torn his ACL. If he was QBing the Browns, they'd be the favorites to take the division now that Geno Atkins is done.

Where is the report stating 4 to 6 weeks? I haven't seen anything stating more than three weeks and the true extent hasn't been stated. I don't think it is believed he will need surgery of any kind.

Not official, but Bill Barnwell over at Grantland. Specifically this paragraph:

The best-case scenario for a Rodgers return is about four weeks. Troy Aikman suffered a broken collarbone in 1998 and came back after missing a total of six weeks, including five games and a bye week. Elvis Grbac suffered a fractured collarbone the previous year and was originally expected to miss a minimum of a month, but didn't play a full game for two months afterward. The Grbac story has a telling quote from Dr. Lewis Rosenblatt: "It will be six to eight weeks until the collarbone really heals good. I can't imagine doing anything before four weeks with a broken collarbone."

Duke does have a point about that 07 SB. And Carolina seems to be really good finally. They had an offense now they have the defense to take them to the playoffs.

I turned the TV off after the game, but this is hilarious. I never thought I would ever hear an F-bomb out of Tom's mouth as long as I lived.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

    1. Seattle
    2. Denver
    3. New Orleans
    4. New England
    5. Carolina (they would've lost if it were in Boston)

And after this I feel like there is a considerable talent drop. I think KC ends up with an 11-5 record. They'll get in the playoffs still (AS PREDICTED I MIGHT ADD).

I would be pissed if I was Brady too. And I had the Chiefs at 9 or 10 wins.

I wonder how Duke's blood pressure is doing?

This is as ridiculous a start as I can ever remember in my life as a Broncos fan. With this wind and the temperature dropping, free points and field possession this early is huge.

Still, this is Brady in New England, so it's waaaay too early to get cocky. It's been damn good seeing the defense really stepping up these last couple weeks...gotta love the Orange Crush.

Not livid. It is what it is. When you fumble 6 times you don't expect to win. I'm not chalking this up to the Broncos beating the Pats. This is the Pats beating the Pats. They didn't show up tonight.

Most vindicating game I've ever watched. This was the exact opposite to the BB decision to go for it on 4th and 2 back in 09. BB gave Manning the ball knowing he cannot perform in cold weather. 6-16 with INT and 4 yards going into the wind. Brady improved to 10-4 all time against Manning. Sad performance by Manning and even sadder performance by Welker. Gotta make that fair catch.

Yesterday sucked so hard. A fucking tie and a three point loss that largely happened because Hali and Houston both got hurt. So goddamn frustrated. Also Mike McCarthy can piss off. Flynn should have been starting.

Worst football weekend yet. I was projected to win by 50 in one league, lost by 40. Projected to win by 20 in other league, lost by 20. My pickem score for the week was TWO. Browns lost, Skins lost...epic fail an all fronts. At least the Buckeyes are still unbeaten.

I am 5-7 in a year I had, according to everyone in the league, the team to beat. Well, beat me they did.
