I know nothing about "types" of beer really. I just know the best beer I have ever had is Old Peculiar.

This Saturday my extended family is getting together for a massive Maryland crabfest. We're going to cook and break food open with hammers.

    I'm pretty excited.

Heh. I just had one of these a couple weeks ago. This may be the best thing about living in Maryland, actually.

I think I like the Red Beers the most out of the different types I've had. I'm not sure of a proper name for it though.

A bac0n and Scar collaberation. Fork tender braised bbq brisquet, homemade bbq sauce, garlicy red mashed potatoes, and some bitchin' green beans.

I can't seem to get mashed potatoes right. It seems easy, but I fail.

AWWWW. I was browsing the thread looking for an old recipe and came across this post. The crabfest was hosted by my sister, and ended up being a baby-on-the-way announcement. And now my little darling with be two this May.

    ...and the milk's in me.

Made Paula Deen's jumbalaya recipe last night. Turned out quite good, save for an onion that I didn't peel properly, so I get an occasional unchewable onion skin.

Next time I'm using more sausage, fewer shrimp.
