Bed Rest removed from release, I’ll take the round average
Pretty simple week...
-Jurassic Park: Dominion tops off at $200M, the third movie of the season to accomplish the feat.
-Lightyear hits $70M, but for a first round pick, this is a disappointment for myself.
-Watcher gets another six figures
-Bob's Burgers tops off at $30M, not a good second round pick.
-Duke's House Party seems to have been removed from the books and moved to a July HBO Max release.
I'm glad I didn't pick Lightyear.

Well, I guess this is growing up
Here comes Mal!
Elvis hits hard with a $48 mill debut, and with Minions on the way with possibly $200M, Mal has entered the chat.
Lightyear for Ezee E could be what costs him the round. Two weeks in, still hasn't hit $100M, and it was the first round pick.
Black Phone also puts Skitch over Duke. Skitch will likely be getting another $200M next week with Thor, but with one movie left afterwards, his chances are slim.
Your mom is slim

Skitch might be in trouble if bad word of mouth affects Thor 4. Just kidding that movie will make gobs of money.

Last week was the week of Mal, getting close to $200m from Minions and Elvis. She leapfrogs Ezee E and DFA into second place. Can Bullet Train be the piece to win, or will Vengeance/Bed Rest be enough to get into first?
Duke's House Party looks to have gone to streaming, making it his third movie to take the streaming route... May have to figure a rule on this as Ezee E's Man From Toronto did the same.
Skitch will also enter the $200M group with Thor next week.
This is paving way for Drago to take another win, and we still have three months to go. Unless Where the Crawdads Sing or Bullet Train is an unexpected smash, this may be an easy win.
Salem's Lot remake got pushed to April 23rd, 2023.
Can I take Barbarian in its place?

-For Mal, Minions hits $200, and Elvis is about to cross $100M. She will likely pass by Ivan Drago next week for some time in first place. Bullet Train will likely need to be a big hit for the lead to last.
-Thor hasn't hit $200M yet, but will likely next week, to put Skitch in third place.
-Paws of Fury and Where the Crawdads Sing will be coming out this week. Who's to say what will happen?
Mal takes a big lead into first place with Bullet Train! Can the remaining three weeks and Bed Rest lead her to the finish line?
Ivan Drago is $50M behind, but has three movies and a round average to go. Will Barbarian and Three Thousand Years of Longing be able to do it?
Or can my $60M deficit be made up with four movies and a round average? Is Dark Harvest even going to be released?
Still a lot more season left!
Dark Harvest has seemingly been removed from boxofficemojo.com scheduling without any announcement.
I shall switch to "Smile." But I'm not happy.
Smile looks...kind of bad and silly to me.
I saw Bullet Train so Mal you're welcome. I also saw Three Thousand Years of Longing, too.

UPDATE:
-Getting to the end here, and things are certainly close. Mal leads the pack with $447M, but nothing left to play as her final pick of Bed Rest seemed to come and go without any actual release.
-Ivan Drago is in second place. Also with a last round movie that moved without notice, he has Barbarian and a round average to try to go from $362M to above Mal. Is that possible?
-Ezee E also has a round average, Don't Worry Darling, The Woman King, and Smile to go... Can this group of four go from $357M to first place???
-Lazlo has BROS and a Round Average
-DFA has two round averages, although I'll have to see if The Last Victim even got a streaming release.
-Skitch had a movie that has COMPLETELY disappeared from boxofficemojo and wikipedia. I saw it myself in the past, so who knows what happened to Guns 3: Alias Billy the Kid.
-And Duke, with 3 movies that went to streaming...
What a round.
Guns 3 was my ringer! This is a setup!
The Last Victim is on hulu, and for rent on lots of streamers.
I forgot I had even selected that one. Oh well.
