Still can't believe some horror book that I was recommended on either Axis Archives or RT is getting made into a movie. Dark Harvest.

I'm now reminded of Roger Ebert's take on Freddy Got Fingered: "This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels."

My last pick is a flick I actually want to see. Sounds cool and has Florence Pugh. It won't make any money but yeah its the end of the draft so whatever. This was fun, hope we do it again in October.

DFA still has to redo his last pick, but WE ARE OFF!

-Morbius and The Contractor each started with 200+ Theaters and will be taking on $$$ for Duke and Lazlo
-Everything Everywhere All At Once and You Won't Be Alone are currently below 200 theaters and will not start tracking. It looks like EEAAO will get its wide release next week.
-No other movies had large releases this week, but worthy of note is Bollywood's RRR, a 3 hours 7 minute movie, is tracking at $11 million in its US Release, beating out Ti West's X and crushing Naomi Watts' Infinite Storm.
-Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie, a Cruncyroll Anime, is tracking very close to Spielberg's West Side Story, down by only $8 million.
