    Define casually drinking.
A six pack, a couple of beers, or one or two 40s. And that's a liberal definition.

Two 40s on any night is not casual drinking.

Yeah - it's been awesome. Although the "at least" part is a bit deceiving. I rarely drink more than 2 beers; I almost always drink exactly 2 beers.

I drink far too much. I know I do. But it'll certainly change when I'm out of the brewery.

All of my beer is in 500ml bottles (so a bottle is a full pint), and most every night I drink 3 to 5 of them.

Two nights ago I drank a full bottle of wine in one sitting. This is something I do any time I open a bottle of wine - I finish it. So I try to not open many bottles of wine.

I rarely get drunk or even really buzzed. Maybe buzzed a couple times of year, drunk once every couple of years. I just like the taste of good beer. I usually drink one with dinner, and one after dinner.

It's pretty much the same situation with me.

Even though I drink 3-5 pints every night, I never get even the slightest buzz. I'm a pretty big guy, and I have a high tolerance for alcohol.

I just really, really love beer.

I try to avoid drinking too much on the weekdays. I'll typically only have a beer Monday-Thursday if it's a special occasion (like the block party on Tuesday of last week) or if I had a particularly shitty day at work (such as yesterday).

On Fridays, I'll typically have 3-4 (one when I get home, one with dinner, one or two afterward), and usually some wine on Saturday or Sunday, which is when I tend to cook the more fancy and time-consuming meals (and we all know that having a nice glass of Pinot Noir on hand makes food preparation go so much more smoothly).

I have this same issue. I usually do it once a week on a worknight with dinner. But that's the only time I'll drink during the workweek.

A bottle of wine delivers a pleasant effect for a night at home--relaxed, buzzed, good night's sleep, minimal hangover next morning for work.

Well it depends on how fast you finish them. If you chug both within the first hour, then yeah you're trying to get drunk. But if you casually drink one, and then go to the other an hour or two later, its different. Maybe. Or I'm just trying to justify buying two 40s and downing them in one night

My sober streak is going to come to an end on Saturday. Birthdays these days make my liver very sad.

My main problem with 40s is primarily the shit that they tend to fill them with.

Tyskie, another Polish brew. Not as good as Zywiec, but it was worth checking it out.

That is going to be me tomorrow morning. In a couple of hours I'm going to celebrate a friend's birthday. He wants to get smashed. Good thing I stayed sober all week....

Had a shot of Jameson for the first time tonight. Much smoother than I expected it to be.

My drinking pals in NYC swore by Jameson. Granted, it was a heavily Irish crew.

Currently am sipping on Svedka + TJ's Lite Lemonade. Not bad.

Most of my friends live by Jamesons. I prefer the sweetness of bourbon myself.

Had a Long Island Iced Tea for the first time yesterday. Delicious. I was under the impression it had tea in it, which was why I'd avoided it before.
