Popeye's chicken sandwich didn't bowl me over, it's decent, but I've never been bowled over by fast food. Maybe White Castle, back when I was a stoner. I've never been impressed by anything I've had at Chick Fil'A, either. We have a restaurant here in the Twin Cities called Revival that has probably the best fried chicken in the state. They have a chicken sandwich, I've never had it, but I bet it's amazing.

Yeah, I remember the tenders were not crispy, and we ate in house, so there was no drive through / take out delay.

There's also Church's Chicken which I haven't had in years and can't remember if it's even decent or bad. I know it's not great.
Okay. I'll create a proper thread for this.
Bojangles is the damn best, though their sandwich isn't what they're famous for. It's either fried chicken in pieces like KFC or my favorite: the cajun filet biscuit. Spicy fried chicken filet on a buttermilk biscuit. Hell yeah.

I really like KFC.
Remember people losing their shit over the two fried chicken breasts as the bun sandwich at KFC? That paired with mashed potatoes and gravy for dipping was sinful.

KFC used to be THE place for all things fried chicken. I worshipped their potatoes and gravy as a kid. Something happened to them around the beginning of the 2000s, though. I haven't been there in about 2 decades. (I now go to Popeye's for my fast food fried chicken.)

No. Never heard of it.
I was on the phone with my friend and he suddenly asked, "What should I get at Fazoli's?" And I burst out laughing from the sheer randomness and the fact that Fazoli's still exists in Austin.
They serve pizza instead of fries. As a side.
