Fuck the electoral college and monarchies. It's the 21st century people should be able to elect their leaders.
Isn't that what the electoral college is specifically designed to prevent from happening?
    Just because...

I'm still dizzy when I stand up, still working on getting my appetite back, but at least the fever is gone.

I've never had COVID-19 (at least to my knowledge) but when being sick of almost anything it's difficult to have a normal appetite. Best advice I can give you, though, is force yourself into at least basic nourishment. The body needs it.

I have to clarify my advice is dubious because I'm no doctor hahah

Get some protein / meal replacement shakes in your gut. When I had the flu, the dizziness went away once I forced calories in my system. I've also been known to work for extreme extended periods of time w/o calories, and only force myself to eat once I get light headed.

Worked out like a fiend yesterday, made a big batch of chicken enchiladas for breakfast and lunch, had a couple bloody marys. Currently enjoying a martini after doing my mis en place for dinner.

Also trying to ignore people who ignore social distancing.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

One thing I forgot, the media will spin total cases, which are / will be enormous, but it's important to look at active cases. Right now active cases are right below 500k. The longer this goes on, obviously more people will be inactive, flush it out of their system, and hopefully test negative and develop antibodies for future immunities.

That said, maybe start to panic if active cases goes above 1M total.

Start to panic when they close grocery stores.

Thats when I’ll start sleeping with my 12 gauge.

EDIT: IF! If they start closing grocery stores.

I'm even starting to think where I'd keep it at night. Next to the bed, loaded, not locked up??

Mine is next to the closet. Don’t keep it immediately accessible unless you’ve trained on sleep deprivation.

Played Half life 2, had a nap in the sun with the GF, with, wait for it, a Corona cerveza. Ordered greek food from a restaurant that still does take away. Watched an episode of orange is the new black, cleaned a bit in the house.

Celebrated my brother's bday remotely, over 'houseparty', which is why I couldn't do later Saturday for our zoom. Did a yoga class with a friend that lives in San Diego and listened to music together through JQBX, and finished the night playing COD: Warzone with two close friends, one in Florida.

As good of a social day as one can get through quarantine.

Never got passed fifth place in Warzone though.

We are preparing mentally for the possibility of a full four day curfew next weekend as it is Orthodox Easter and Serbia's sadistic president doesn'f trust it with social distancing over a long weekend. Wife just went outside with the dog for her two minutes of sun for today. We will probably try and get our groceries on like tuesday, between panic buying spurts. It's very difficult for us, we can't freeze a lot of food and don't have much space for cooling either, so we get packaged toast instead of bread as it can last a month or more, I get 1 liter beer bottles instead of cans because they are lighter and take up less space... Everything becomes a puzzle when you're in a tiny place in the center of the city.

Has anyone in the US on here gotten their stimulus in direct deposit yet? Supposedly started on Saturday. Nothing in mine. I'm pretty sure I did direct deposit for fed tax refunds those years, but I'm not 100% positive.
