    Pop quiz, hot shot!

I love instant reactions to random questions, so lets ask some random movie questions! Give your FIRST reaction, don't dwell on it or try to think up an intelligent answer, just react.

What is your favorite bit in the Lord of the Rings trilogy?

My mind always jumps to the mines of Moria in FOTR.

Feel free to ask your random movie question as well.

Get out of my head skitch. That entire sequence is my favorite part of the trilogy.

Specifically, "throw yourself in next time and rid us of your stupidity"....to "They have a cave troll"

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

When they're in the caves of Moria and Gandalf lights the way, and the Fellowship stops to take in the giant structures of Dwarrowdelf.

It's only over a minute long, but pure movie magic.

I didn't appreciate the movies until years after they came out. Didn't really know what all the fuss was about actually when they hit theaters.

I read the Hobbit several times and loved it, but never read LOTR, so the theater was my first exposure to the story.

That is hard. For me it has to be the charge of the Rohan in ROTK. "DEAAAAATH!" gives me chills every time.

It's the way the music swells in that scene that makes it so utterly majestic.

Also, that awesome realization in 2001 that Strider and Balrog were used by Capcom years after the books came out.

The suicide bomber / torch carrier orc at Helms Deep. That ‘yelp’ or whatever you call it as he dives in to blow up the wall makes me laugh every time.

Must spread rep and all that.

I've maintained for years that Goldeneye is the best Bond movie. I haven't watched it in years. Rewatched yesterday. Its so wonderful when you revisit (agenerally percieved odd opinion) and come away with "naaah. I will die on this mountain." Goldeneye RULES.

I used to be in this camp, and then Daniel Craig came along.

Thats a good one Duke. But I think I'm bad at knowing the line of definition of "supporting". So I glanced over at my blus for "first pop into my head" as good supporting.

I separate Daniel Craig Bonds. Those in a different universe. Had this conversation with several friends and they all said same. Everything Bond is Connery through Brosnan, then Craig. Theyre just so different (and great, other than Spectre).
