    Pawlikowski gets the nod for being able to make every image look like a still-life. The best film I've seen this year.

    I liked this quite a bit too. As everyone's saying, the shot-making is superb, and the Rachel Griffiths look-alike Agata Kulesza deserves more plaudits for her performance than she'll get.

    Sort of... ok?

    The cinematograpy is definitively worth a look. The story, not so much. Pretty predictable, mundane stuff for the most part.
