With appropriate (i.e. low) expectations, this is surprisingly better than terrible, which isn't anything to sneeze at for what was a January-released horror franchise half-sequel/half-reboot with a 3D affixed to its title. Your best bet is to stream this off Netflix while in a tipsy and drowsy stupor, which admittedly may have had something to do with my own relatively forgiving response.

People are too easy to condescend to a picture. It knows it's dumb as bricks, but it goes about it in a bright and cheerful way.
The opening reuse of the original TCM footage was abhorrent, though.
I like how so many people died within a 5 minute stretch. After that I was removed.
