    Beat Infinite. Meh. When the game's lead designer says the ending will be like nothing I've ever experienced before... kinda takes all the wind out of your sale. It's a very mediocre ending and we're going to have to start calling Ken Levine... M. Ken Shyamalevine.

    The game play footage from the new Metal Gear blew me away. I love how they are playing a crippled dude who can barely crawl. Really, really cool, and totally hilarious. It's too bad it had to end with a giant explosion - it would have been completely amazing to have it end with a small, tiny victory or action, like the dude getting up, finally, and getting a drink of water or something.

    @Morris Yes. There was a trailer released last year that showed what looked like to be Solid Snake trying to escape a hospital. This video almost certainly confirms it is Big Boss.

    I'm kind of not getting all the "OMGZ I can't believe this is current gen 'cause it looks so amazing!" reports and comments on "GTA V".

    Some of the environments look nice (as they always do in this series) but the character models are incredibly bland and look like they haven't progressed since "GTA IV" 5 years ago.

    I'm looking forward to the game, for sure, I'm just not in the camp that thinks it looks graphically astounding.

    Almost finished with the campaign in "Gears of War: Judgment". I'm enjoying a bit more now that I've gotten into the rhythm of it, but it really doesn't feel like a full-fledged entry in the series. It's like an expanded piece of DLC.

    I also do not understand why both the "Gears of War" and "Halo" franchises chose to get rid of their wave-attack multiplayer modes in their latest entries. Both were replaced by incredibly inferior modes, and were pretty much universally called out on making a really bad decision in eliminating the fan-favorite modes.

    Oh and I had zero interest in Destiny. But this concept art is awesome. Very Star Warish. Bungie is not above ripping from other IPs but some of this is really blatant.

    • Every console will ship with a wireless headset in the box (makes sense)
    • 1920x900 resolution on the controller's dual-touch touchpad should allow for precise inputs
    • camera contains a six-axis accelerometer that can tell the PS4 console which direction it's pointing, so games could for instance prompt players to adjust the camera's position to a more suitable angle
    • A secondary low-power processor core can do things like upload video that you want to share while the console is powered down
