This game is amazingly complex. Makes Civilization look like Age of Empires. Or something.

Still don't know if I like it because I haven't figured it out.
I hear that it is best enjoyed after spending a lot of time watching youtube tutorials and reading websites about it.

Played Deus Ex: Human Revolution for a few hours, and then traded it back in. Cost me $17 to buy, but I stumbled across $10 off, and got $8 trade in credit, so it was a wash.

The protagonist annoyed me, as did the combat and cover system. Perhaps I've spent too much time on ME2 and ME3.

As well as, (I think duke made mention of this), the air ducts.

I've got Sniper Elite v2 sitting here. Will probably fire it up tomorrow.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I finally started playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 and in a few days I've already played almost 12 hours. I really liked XIII but I think I like this one even more.

I thought it was an improvement as well, but it still ended up being mediocre. There was hardly any difficulty until the end boss. Random encounters are a complete waste of time - paradigm shifts are never necessary. The story is out there even for this game series. I liked Noel's backstory when you go to 700 AF, though. Didn't have a desire to spend another minute on it after I beat it, so I didn't check out the coliseum/casino much. I could never figure out how to get the coliseum going, either, is there a point to that area?

I just made it to the coliseum area and the only thing I could do there was get the White Hole gem and then there were treasure spheres around the outside to get. From checking online it looks like the coliseum is where the battles take place in the DLC.

And I don't mind the difficulty. I'm playing on normal and I've already died like five times (not counting the times where I was in an area I shouldn't have been).

Still really enjoying "Dead Space 2" and I'm nearing the final stretch (currently on chapter 12 of 15).

Just got the Advanced Suit which is pretty darn cool.

I still find myself just using the Pulse Rifle and the Plasma Cutter, though. I did that in the first game and it's no different in this one.

In fact, in most all games I often find myself resorting to the more simplistic weaponry. In the "Halo" games I rarely use the Covenant Needler or Plasma Launcher - the pistol and battle rifle are my preferred weapons.

And in games with magic abilities, I rarely use them.

Oh and the "Deadpool" game looks great.

Love that he makes "pew! pew! pew!" sounds while shooting people.

Wow, the ending to "Dead Space 2" was pretty epic.

    Loved the yucky...

Decided not to move on from "Dead Space 2" quite yet. I'm playing New Game+ and still really enjoying it. Addictively trying to upgrade my weapons to max power.

After this I will either move to "Metro 2033" or "Assassin's Creed 2".

Or hell, maybe one of the several games I have in my collection that I was enjoying but abandoned for other titles ("Bayonetta" which I abandoned for "Halo: Reach"; "RDR" which I abandoned for "Skyrim", etc. etc.)

Ok, that was nowhere near as mentally taxing as I remember. And it's worth saying that I had completely forgotten how to complete it after 14 years. I guess I must have been more aware of certain aspects such as using the ocarina at critical intervals and looking at the three water level labels on the doors. Perhaps Navi was more forthcoming with clues than in the N64 edition of the game, that is also possible. Anyway, got the boss key, but batteries went down. So that'll have to be dealt with tomorrow. Amazing game. Now if only Nintendo would release a completely new Zelda masterpiece for the 3DS.

Just played and beat Dear Esther in about an hour. While I agree that the narration, music and graphics are all quite pleasant, I couldn't really get into it.

Bought this for $2.50 off the steam sale too. Haven't got around to playing it. Also bought Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

Too many Steam games. Still got all the recent Humble Indie bundle games (except for Braid), Aquaria and Half Life 2 to play through .

Wow, that's lame. It was my favorite temple as a kid too, I had to walk two of my friends through it because they found it incomprehensible.

I didn't have the patience to walk around with the iron boots and only being able to use the hookshot to kill things. Other than that it was pretty cool. Shadow Link, fun boss, quality overall idea with the manipulation of water levels.

Fire and Spirit Temples FTW. Also dug the Gerudo Fortress.

Really? That's very silly. It must have been one notorious motherfucking temple. My memories weren't failing me then.

    Any idea what became easier?

Just gotten there. Kinda frustrating as a stealth level, but perhaps there's a gadget I've yet to obtain.

Nope, it's pretty much pure stealth. You can snipe the guards with arrows though.

I think it's around here that I stopped playing back in 1998-1999. So yeah, I never completed Toot and the feeling that after all these years I'm finally getting around to it, fills me with great joy.

It'll be good to finally, at long bloody last, put this fucker behind me.

I played some Bastion last night. Very underwhelmed. The control scheme was clunky as hell.
