How does that stupid game still have the ability to keep me up until midnight on a work night? It's been out for like 6 months now!
The fight with Lautrec and his henchman was pretty cool, but you'll probably find it super easy now since you're a much more experienced player.
Demon's and Dark Souls are modern masterpieces for me.
For sure. No doubt.Quoting KK2.0 (view post)
My like for that game turned in to pure, unadulterated hatred in the end.Quoting Morris Schæffer (view post)
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
Like bac0n, the moment I went to Skyrim I never played Dead Island again. Honestly, it was becoming a little repetitive for me, anyway.
FYI, if anyone picks up GT5, set aside an hour to install it. Max install requires over 10GB of space. Basic install is 2.2GB.
Picked it up at Gamestop today for $25.

"Rage" has one of the worst endings I've encountered in a medium that's not exactly known for its quality endings. What crap.
Back to "BioShock 2" to play "Minerva's Den". I've played for about an hour so far and it's already better than the entirety of "Rage".
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Oh my, that doesn't bode well. We'll see.Quoting Scar (view post)

Holy HUD Batman!
The severed arm perfectly acquitted itself, because of the simplicity of its wishes and its total lack of doubt.
Microsoft is offering the Xbox 360 for $99. The catch is you need to sign up for a 2 year XBL Gold plan at $14.99 a month.
You're essentially paying a subsidized $460 for what you could buy for $320. Straight up.
Wait, $15/month for something you can buy for $45/year. What kind of sense does that make?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
It sounds like a financing option without calling it one.
It's basically a financing offer complete with interest, but without credit needed. It's silly to me, but so is renting furniture, and that business seems to be doing well enough.

Sony's E3 booth is titled: "Join PlayStation executives as we announce the future of gameplay and innovation". A strange headline when you're not announcing any new hardware....
Wow.
"Minerva's Den" was better than "BioShock 2".
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
It could be, as you suspect, a PS4 announcement. But it could also be standard issue company speak.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

I may be inclined to agree with "those people".
"Minerva's Den" was like a great short story - briskly paced, tightly written, full characters. It was awesome.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
