I'm at the end of Mass Effect 2. It hasn't even been a full week since I started playing this game.

Already have Mass Effect 3 ordered... though I kinda want to replay 2 and go full on renegade since the outcomes change quite a bit.

Read the Halo 4 article on the latest Game Informer, and I'm kinda baffled by the way they're describing the multiplayer.

Apparently instead of just some mode where you go to shoot other people online, they for some reason want the multiplayer to have as much narrative importance as the campaign mode, so the multiplayer is going to be a "B story" mode where you take on the role of nameless grunts who cross path with Master Chief in the main campaign. And apparently the model of the presentation is going to be like a TV season, where they'll be a new "episode" every week (real time) for you to play? Wha? I don't really get the concept.

Also, the article describes the main campaign being slightly different from the original trilogy in that it's more narrative and action-scene driven, I guess a la the Modern Warfare games or something (one non-shootout playable scene the article describes makes it sound that way), and will see a shift in the way the game treats Master Chief. It's going to be more specifically character-based storytelling, telling us who he is as a person, rather than let him be an audience surrogate.

Anyway, that kinda piques my interest.

EDIT: Not looking forward to getting the remaining bronze trophies, all will require farming to make the best weapons per type of stone. The Sage's Trophy (All Spells) shouldn't be difficult, probably work on that one tomorrow.

The season-based story idea for Halo 4 is intriguing, but what happens if you miss the first few weeks? Can you replay them?

Also, when you start farming, make sure to have the Large Sword of Searching, it improves the odds for what they drop. You don't have to use it, equip it in your off hand, and then two hand your main weapon, and the benefit remains.

You could use the item dupe glitch to get all the stones you need. I'll probably end up doing that, as farming stones for hours doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

I believe so, because I've had a dragon long sword +5 for quite awhile.
