I've played for about 5 hours in "Arkham Asylum" so far, and I'm exactly 30% done. Awesome.

But slightly disappointing, because I wish it was more like "0.00005% completed". I do not want this game to end.

I have no idea. How do i find out when?

There should be somewhere on the X-Box website that says, if you log in with your XBL ID.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

Watching The Devil's Rejects makes me want to play Guitar Hero II.

Fuck you, broken XBox. Fuck you so hard.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

On the one hand, Sony's decision to re-release God of War 1 & 2 on Blu-Ray seems selfish. A chance to force many people to re-purchase a game they already own.
This is why I can't stand to read almost any mainstream press about video games.

That's the new Warren Spector title - a steam punk Disney adventure. He's been super secret about for a few years now, ever since he left Looking Glass

D, I really think you'd dig "Arkham Asylum".

It's very similar to "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay".

I dig the demo - I'll probably pick it up used or something. I'm trying not pay $60 for games anymore.

Totally dude. I'm in the same boat, especially when you can get something like "Shadow Complex" for $15.

I just needed to get this game

Arkham Asylum was only $38 in Canada, which is what convinced me to spring for a copy. I'll probably start playing it this week.
Giving up in 2020. Who cares.

I would be surprised if you could even get $20 for it. I just gave mine away.

GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony looks great! Parachutes, exploding cranes, airlifting train carriages.

I've skipped The Lost and the Damned, and am rarely the kinda guy to go for DC, but perhaps I should revisit GTA IV after all.

I got my PS3 and played some Mirror's Edge, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Noby Noby Boy last night.

Why does my PS3 keep giving me trophies? I don't want fucking trophies.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

  21. #6571
I think I figured out how to disable notification of them. At least, that's what part of the Internet is telling me "Disable Notifications" means. If so, I'll be happy.

I don't think I've "earned" anything when I clear a tutorial stage. Playing a game ought to be its own reward.

Just like bettering mankind should be the reward for working at our jobs. Yet we don't complain when we get a paycheck.

Sometimes I kinda wish we were Star Trek's universe.

Rather different, really. If I didn't have to work, I'd probably do something that more directly betters mankind for about 10 hours a week and spend the other thirty on creative/artistic/social pursuits.

I opt to spend part of my time playing games because it's fulfilling. Issuing me a metaphorical paycheck (for imaginary wooden nickels, not redeemable for anything) cheapens the experience.

Well I don't agree. I like seeing my trophies. It lets me know what I've accomplished and reminds me what I played.

    You get your card yet?
