I remember there was a Star Ocean PS2 game that had something like 100+ endings. I'd like to see more of that.

Star Ocean 2 for the PS1 said it had like 80 + endings and what it meant was that it had 80 5-line cut scenes between the different characters,

Very interesting article from Introversion Software (makers of the incredible Darwinia and Defcon games) about the game industry, their woes in 2008, and the struggles of a small indie game developer. Highly recommended.

So according to the Giant Bombcast, Zuitfly (those dude who were making that unlicensed Ghostbusters game) is now making a game based off of the official Mr. T graphic novel, in which you play as Mr. T and you rescue Will Wright (yes, that Will Wright), while fighting nazis and their giant robots.

LAS VEGAS—The buzz at this month's Consumer Electronics Show was all about a new breakthrough in the field of high-resolution 3-D graphics that has made it possible to render average-sized breasts on female video game characters. "For too long, game designers have been creatively stymied by a mammary-imaging technology only capable of rendering one type of breast—a heaving pair of massive, gravity-defying, torpedo-shaped bosoms," said Warren Hood, developer of the new Vex9 graphics card, which has finally enabled video game wire-frame artists to digitally sculpt breasts as small as B-cups. "At long last, we can give die-hard gamers the level of realism they've been looking for." Hood added that researchers are currently exploring technologies that would allow the shamans and clerics in World Of Warcraft to practice modern medicine instead of depending on unrealistic magical healing spells.

The "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" game is supposed to be pretty darn fun.

But why, oh why does it have to be $70 on Amazon.ca? Isn't that a little extreme?

I was unaware that review is out. All the interviews I've seen have the developers gloating over how fun the game is... like anyone who's worked on a project would badmouth what they're working on.

105 hours "invested" in SFIV so far. The only game I've ever played more is Diablo 2.

And I don't see myself stopping any time soon.
