    Halloween emergency - need costume ideas

    Hey guys.

    I have a costume/birthday party to attend in less than three weeks. I've known about it for a while, but with the play and everything else, I just let it slip my mind.

    What this means is that I have less than three weeks to come up with and execute a costume idea.

    It doesn't have to be outlandish (in fact, its better if it isnt), and it needs to be something I can do without resorting to online stores since time is so short.

    You guys are hella creative so Im hoping you can help me out here. My brain is fried (got diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration at the doctor today), so I throw myself at your mercy, Match-Cut.

    there's a beer store that has occasional dress up days. they have prizes (FREE BEER, WHAT ELSE) for those with the best costumes. this friday the prize goes to the person with the creepiest costume.

    Anything widely recognizable like cartoon characters are relatively easy to do. I've been Little Caesar (pizza) and Charlie Brown and they succeeded very well.

    My original idea was to go as Walter from The Big Lebowski, but I don't have time to get everything together - and I cant shave my head like he had it in the movie because I have an audition the VERY next night.

    When I realized the timing, I gave up on that. Which is too bad, it would've been great

    I suggest playing to your exhaustion and dehydration and going as someone stranded in the desert. All you need is a handkerchief or shirt tied around your head, and a few handfuls of sand to pour in your shoes.

    If you just don't want to spend money on a costume what do you have lying around the house that we could turn into a costume for you?

    Trench coat? Jackets? Hats?

    Doing a "group" costume this year, which is always fun if you can get the people to do it. We went as the Rat Pack a couple years ago, and this year I'm The Dude along with Walter, Maude and The Jesus. Still hoping we can find a Donnie and a Big Lebowski before Halloween. Worst comes to worst I can carry a coffee can for Donnie.
