I don't know. This has happened, and I was pissed that I didn't get a call to pick her up.
Same here, but I'm pretty sure that if someone called them a dumb prick in front of me, I most likely would've lost my temper.

Of course, now in my thirties, I'm much more even keeled.

Yeah, I suppose nobody called her a dumb broad or anything in front of me. Course, I thought, think, she was a dumb broad for what she did anyway. Still makes me mad.

Kind of why y'all have seen my animosity towards this particular death.

It looks like the bar he was at is doing its best to back peddle away from any liability. They've given surveillance tapes of the evening to try and prove that Dunn wasn't showing any signs of intoxication. I'm not sure if it'll work if his BAC was 2½ times the legal limit though.

Can bars even get in trouble for that stuff? Seems like there wouldn't be a bar or club in existence.

Bars have been sued for 'over-serving'.

Bars should have a waiver inscribed on the bar tabs.

Sure they can. Every state has a liquor control board that certifies that servers, bartenders and restaurant owners/managers from proper alcohol handling. If there is negligence in over-serving, the person serving can be fined (and likely lose their alcohol serving license), and the establishment also can be fined. If the drunk driver killed someone, the family of the deceased can even go after the establishment for over serving.

In Boston, they record the number of times people are pulled over after being served at certain places. There's a fine involved.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I do recall that Boulder had one of its main bars closed down due to 70-80% of offenders saying they had a drink there.

It's because it's right across the street from the parking garage.

I figured it was because they sold drinks to underage people, but it was for overserving.

I posted this on my twitter:

Tasteless joke about Falk being reunited with his other eye

Sincere appreciation for a true original.

Loved his work in Wings of Desire.

It's funny that you have these things lying around apparently for when the situation calls for it.

    Aha, you Americans.

Just thought of something. Falk's first steps as Columbo were under the direction of a certain Mr. Spielberg.

    Edit: lol at soitgoes' retort.

Wow. I thought he was long dead. Well, I actually never gave it any thought until now, but if I had, I would have said he was long dead. Anyways, I'm thankful for his work. Like I said in the 30 Day Challenge thread, I grew up watching Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch, though I don't really like them today.
