    This one really stings.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

All surgeries have potential complications; it's unfortunate that the phrase implies something was botched. Stroke as a result of a valve replacement is a well-established risk (which is why everyone gets blood thinners afterwards):

There are reports circulating today that legendary Game Show Host / International Super Spy Chuck Barris has passed away, reports which anyone who's watched or read Confessions of a Dangerous Mind knows are complete bullshit.

Regardless, Godspeed, Chuck, enjoy your retirement! When I see the guy with the curly gray hair and the shades the next time I am in The Maldives, I will wink and look the other way.

Now this is a really obscure one.

Carlos Casalla (1921-2017), Argentine comic-book writer and artist. Most famous for his stories about gauchos and particularly his military hero El Cabo Savino (Corporal Savino), with whom he has the honor of having the record for longest-running stories about a single character done by the same person, having told Savino's adventures from 1954 to his death two days ago. Other characters include cowboy Alamo Jim, self-explanatory El Cosaco (The Cossack) and jazz musician Perdido Joe (Lost Joe).

    Also a jazz musician himself.

Jonathan Demme. Yes, cancer again. Such a shame. The guy was still actively working.

This one stings. Even though SotL was a massive success and he won an Oscar, I still think he was always underrated. Something Wild needs more love.
