The Intellivision has those D&D games, though. Those were pretty cool.
Treasures of Tarmin. The sheer number of hours I lost to that game cannot be counted. I wish I could get a version for the PC, but all the Intellivision emulators are spotty at best.

Oh god, I remember that game. There was this part I could not get past. Some statue where if you got too close, it would burn you to a crisp, and then you had to start all the way back from the beginning. That's as far as I ever got in that game.
Had it on an audio cassette back then, played through this benemoth:

Took ages for that counter to reach 5 minutes. Funny thing is, I never actually considered that turning the tape over might continue the adventure until a friend told me. I thought I was done after side A. I mostly remember the dragon:

Which you had to smoke bomb, but it was never clear where you had to stand in order to actually hit this beast.

No; too young! I really liked him. One of the great speaking voices, too. He did some of my favorite audiobooks.

Very sad. This man, along with Rich Eisen, was my sports viewing as a young man. His ESPYs speech was truly moving as well...

I sincerely appreciate how you keep posting about people I didn't know and had to look up.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

    Weird.

Listening to the new Jeff Bridges album all morning, and it reminded me of Rod McKuen's spoken word albums. So I Googled McKuen to see find some stuff to listen to...
