The art of the tee shirt

I have several of you to thank for getting me addicted to another product on which I can waste tons of money - the tee shirt(not naming names, but someone with the number 8 in their name, an ezee-going buddy of mine, a guy who's spun a little too much, and Jen).

I never realized that the custom/novelty tee was such a huge business. There are countless websites selling everything from offensive humor to political ranting in tee-shirt form.

So here's a place where we can share our favorite designs, inform each other of good sales, and generally waste more time here on the good old M-to-the-C.

I typically frequent two sites: Tee Magnet, which features the daily shirts from 6 different "1 shirt a day" sites, and Threadless.

I also came across the wonderful Six Dollar Shirts, where all shirts are $6.00, or you can get 10 for $50.00.

So yeah, not only have I bought several for myself over the past month or two, but I've bought several as gifts as well.

I'm thinking of getting this one (from Shirt-Woot) for my dad for Christmas, since he's always loved Cookie Monster...

"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

    I'm still hooked on Threadless.

I wish I had gotten this one before it sold out.

Depends on the kind of humor involved. Plus you have to absolutely not care that your t-shirt is hilarious but also be appreciative when people compliment it.

As a lady, I say yes. I loved dreamdead's Wong Ka Wai shirt. Which, incidentally he just informed me was created by someone here. Let's bring back the match-cut tee shirt!

We need an official Match Cut t-shirt.

    I'd wear it.
    Sure why not?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I'm not the biggest fan of that scene from Zombi, but still!

I was just wearing my WKW shirt Saturday. I like that shirt! I wish 8 still had them, because my Miike shirt will have to be retired soon.

Sure lends a new meaning to the term "graphic tee," eh? Eh?

One of my very favorite shirts is a Threadless shirt titled "The Beginning..." which Jen got for me about 2 years ago...

Indeed. I got most of my funny tees from my girl.
And I wish there was an easier way to make my own designs here. I can do pretty much anything imaginable with Photoshop and Illustrator.

I like a funny tee, but I cannot stand dirty ones.

EDIT: Holy crap! I want that zombie shark one! I made Braden draw several Zombie vs. Shark scenes for some embroidery projects, but that shirt is something else!

Another truly epic battle on today's Tee Fury...

Yes, that is a sumo wrestler fighting a monster truck.

    Fighting?

    I think they're dancing. It's all tender.
