Hulu just picked up The Mindy Project (which got cancelled on Fox) for a 26 episode 4th season. I really like this show and last season ended on a cliffhanger so I'm glad we're going to get to see where it's headed.

Seasons still go on for 26 episodes on network TV? Oi.
I don't mind 20+ episode seasons of 30 minute comedies it's just the hour long dramas that I don't care for.

I forgot to tell everyone there's a deal to sign up for Hulu for 0.99 a month for a year.
Now I can finally watch Castle Rock.
https://www.hulu.com/welcome?orig_re....google.com%2F
$12 for Hulu is still $12 too much
Is it? I've never used it so it was enough to get me to sign up.
Outside of The Handmaiden's Tale, there isn't anything I would view on there for the $1/month service.
Castle Rock??
Disney now owns 66% of this as AT&T sold their share back to the service. Comcast owns the other 33%.

So maybe this is where Disney's darker properties will live?
Marvel announces Ghost Rider and Marvel Helstrom series. Both are set to debut in 2020.

LOL. Breaking news
Disney to Assume Full Operational Control of Hulu
Disney and Comcast announce agreement on Hulu's future governance and ownership, giving Disney full operational control
Disney right now:
Midnight Run (1988) - 9
The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) - 8.5
The Adventures of Robinhood (1938) - 8
Sisters (1973) - 6.5
Shin Godzilla (2016) - 7.5
The agreement also includes a Hulu app on Comcast's X1 platform. They already have Amazon and Netflix on there. Adding Hulu (and probably Disney+) is a huge win for us still tied to cable subscriptions. Damn sports.
Reddit streams for sports. Done and done.

$1.99 for 12 months Hulu
https://www.hulu.com/start?cmp=12963...CvBCnsPA90dzKw
Wow thats a good deal. I've been pretty vocal disliking/avoiding Hulu because I don't need to pay for another service, especially WITH ads, but that might be worth a year.
Remember when people said Disney was going to kill Alien?
Yes. They said that because Disney doesn't allow old 20th Century Fox movies to be screened publicly, not because they were discontinuing this one franchise.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
So, hooray for more franchise shit, I guess? But your chances of seeing Scott's or Cameron's movie on a big screen again, outside your home, are near zero.
https://www.vulture.com/2019/10/disn...its-vault.html
There's near zero I'll see anything outside my home again. And you know me by now I don't give a shit about theaters. Maybe it's time for these actors and directors to take a giant pay cut and for the industry to realign. Maybe this will open doors for new, smaller directors and actors trying to make it.
